Trani is a BEAUTIFUL town that one should not miss when visiting Puglia. The Mare Resort is a huge converted palace, all rooms are located on the second floor. It is in a prime location, on a beautiful square facing the sea. So far, so good. It calls itself a 'resort' and is rated 4 stars. I must have missed...

I used to visit Mare Resort pretty often for breakfast or afternoon coffees, it's a good place where you can relax and chill enjoying the lovely view of Trani and its amazing cathedral, the service is not bad, the food quality is ok.

Overlooking the Piazza Quercia and across the harbour to the Cathedral. A converted old palace - the hotel occupies the second floor and terrace (apparently the first floor is private apartments). The rooms are very clean, all equipped to a very high standard, and ours was very spacious (junior suite). The hotel only has 13 rooms and so the breakfast...

We have spent just one night in Mare Resort in Trani. The hotel is located in an old but renovated building in one of the main squares. The location is amazing and you will find yourself few steps far from the main sightseeing of this beautiful town. The room style is very modern and stylish. Rooms were cleaned and very...

The building has an elegance in its proportions, the use of natural stone and simple modern accents. Get a room with a view on the harbour. The rooms have wind names, they are sparsely furnished but the bed is very comfortable. As it is a four star (3 star equivalent in other countries) there are no toiletries, no cotton pads...

April is still offseason so the hotel did not have everything the way it does in high season, but the room was gorgeous and clean, looking over the harbor - albeit through a small window (Levantine room). The bathroom was very nice, the bed very comfortable and the room very large. Breakfast was delicious. No free parking, but there was...

Trendy, stylish, modern hotel facing the main piazza of Trani, overlooking the port. Rooms seem to be well appointed, but I was surprised by the lack of toiletries, considering that Culti is behind the whole business. Two major complaints: my room was extremely dark, with a small window facing an inner court; and I was awaken at 3 AM by...

Great location over looking the pretty working harbour at Trani. Roof top bar and restaurant. The rooms are all named after winds. We stayed in Aliseo which was large, comfortable and serene. Fantastically comfortable bed with great linen. Mini bar full of complementary water, soft drinks and even a little bottle of Prosecco. Tea making facilities but no coffee -...

I chose to stay at Mare' Resort in Trani, Italy while visiting my Dad's birth place of Trani, and I was very happy that I chose this boutique hotel for several reasons. The central location of the Mare' Resort was spectacular! It is in the center of the city on the Porto di Trani within an easy few blocks walk...

“Choose a room with a view of the marina which is well lit at night but be aware that the piazza immediately outside the hotel is very loud especially on the weekends...lots of teenagers hang out here and barking dogs. From what I understand rooms without the view are not particularly scenic.”
