Glorious holiday and beautiful hotel! We travelled with our 3 year old and 1 year old in September 2020. The hotel was incredibly clean, with hand sanitisers in every area, masks worn by staff, so we felt safe from Covid-19. Staff were extremely friendly and kind, especially to the children, and the hotel was absolutely beautiful. The main pool is salt water, and has a beach-style edge so the kids could toddle in and out safely. The rocks, waterfall and overall depth of the main pool meant we spent hours and hours playing in the pool and the kids didn't want to get out! The beach was lovely, slightly coarser sand is very easy to brush off. Sunloungers regularly sanitised, and inflatable toys for kids to use. The clear water in the sea was warmer than the pool - idyllic! Sailing dinghies, kayaks, SUPs were all available for guests, free of charge, and the beach bar made a mean mojito! Excellent food, wonderful staff, clean rooms... we had a wonderful holiday and the kids loved it. Dinner was at 7.30pm which was very late for the kids, so this took time to adjust, but that's the only possible criticism! Many thanks for a fantastic break…
Quiet place for familly to relax and enjoy the see. The place is fare from all live stress and noise, perfect to drive motor Bike or walk in the country The staff is hard working to please the guests.
On arrival we been picked by club car and avoid carrying heavy languages. Resort territory extremely clean and well looked after. Beautiful swimming pool , clean beach ( sun beds and umbrellas provided). Room slightly outdated but again was very clean . We had only breakfast included therefore we also paid 25£ per person for dinner with unlimited drinks. Worth it ! Very nice food ! Multiple choice of fruits, sweet treats and great choice of seafood! In the evening we stayed in the hotel bar ( outside area) where despite Covid 19 restrictions had some nice time with life music ! I definitely recommend this hotel for short or long stay for fair price !
We stayed 10 days during the first half of August, and in spite of the relatively high number of guests the hotel did not feel crowded, rooms have good sound isolation and AC so we never had trouble sleeping or resting during the day. All the staff was friendly and helpful, speaking good English when our basic Italian was insufficient. We appreciated the beach restaurant's food and service quality. Only downside: because of the Covid measures, the dinner buffet was reserved to guests with dinner included until after 2045, and we had to reserve in advance in order to have a table even after that time, which wasn't super convenient.
COVID I'd like to start by stressing that our visit happened during covid times, meaning the place was probably less crowded than usual and the services might have also been adjusted accordingly. The staff took all necessary precautions, disinfectants could be found before entering common areas, every table and even sunbeds were cleaned immediately after guests left, mandatory masks in shared areas. Guests weren't allowed to handle the food themselves, it was instead handed over by the staff - also very nice. Even the salt and pepper were packaged, one time use only. The menu was available after scanning a QR code to prevent unnecessary contact. Even the straw in my cocktail was put there using a pair of tweezers. THE POOL Newly built panoramic pool with salt water looks beautiful and is plenty big. As it was mid july, the water was pretty warm and pleasant. There were usually very few sunbeds available in the afternoon - as usual, guests left their towels and stuff since morning and often times didn't even visit the pool in the afternoon. We highly recommend paying 10EUR for the "infinity pool view area", which comes with cushioned sunbeds, whirpooled infinity pool, a drink and a small snack. Considering only the aperol spritz costs like 8EUR when bought separately, this was a bargain and money well spent. THE ROOM Originally we tried booking the SUPERIOR room, which was more expensive than the BASIC right off the bat, but we wanted to pay for the ocean view as this was our honeymoon. After learning there's an additional 35EUR fee per day, we opted for STANDARD room, that was also slightly more expensive than BASIC, but without additional fees paid upon arrival. We got room nb. 12, that was on 1st floor with a balcony and, in my opinion, a pretty decent ocean view overlooking the bay. The entire room felt like what we would imagine was Italian countryside, with low ceilings, colorful walls, tiled bathroom and wooden decors. And we loved it. As a four-star hotel, the room came with nice amenities like stitching kit, free digital vault and various cosmetic accessories. THE BEACH There were three rows of free sunbeds and we never struggle to grab a vacant one. First two rows are paid. You can borrow a free towel at the lifeguard tower, the replacement fee (if you're staying for longer) was 2EUR. In the morning there were also free paddleboard rentals, kayaks, free windsurfing classes etc. We could sometimes smell sewage, most likely due to the fact the hotel is at the end of the bay. The sand wasn't completely smooth, there were tiny pebbles. Overall the beach felt pretty clean. THE FOOD AND DRINKS We stayed on full board and couldn't complain. We consider ourselves rather demanding wine consumers and the free house wine that came with lunch and dinner was delicious. Lunch and diner cuisine was a mediterranean open bar - plenty of seafood, fish, local goodies like pork cuts, beef. Plenty of veggies and cheese. Delicious pizza and pasta (no surprise, we're in Italy). Excellent place for those who want to eat healthy. Wouldn't recommend for a vegetarian or vegan (maybe there's a possibility to schedule different meals in advance). Meals were handed over by the staff, you simply browsed the dining area and asked for whatever caught your eye. However we would appreciate some cards next to the meals explaining what we were presented, as the staff often couldn't explain the meal in English and we sometimes had to guess whether we'll like it or not. Not a huge deal though. Breakfasts were pretty typical - open bar with seating on a patio overlooking the bay. You could find eggs, sweets, sausages, ham and cheese, yoghurts, oats, fruit and pastry. No milk alternatives. There were also two bars on the premises, which served small snacks during the afternoon and I believe you could also have a full sized lunch, if you opted for half-board. There was a selection of burgers, pizzas, pastas, salads etc. Various cocktails below 10EUR, delicious ice-cream. I highly recommend trying out Mirto mule, which is a Sardinian twist on my favourite drink, Moscow mule, and I absolutely loved it. THE SERVICE Everyone we encountered felt very professional, spoke at least some English, we never had communication issues apart from explaining some of the meals. Considering we visited a southern country, we usually only waited for a few minutes to be served at the bar. I'm accustomed to being served in 30min intervals and waiting for 15 for a round of drinks when visiting countries like Italy or Spain so this was a pleasant surprise. SPORTS The fitness center is not just a wannabe fitness with few mats, small dumbells and treadmills. There are both kettlebels and dumbells up to 40KG!! two olympic size bars, plates up to 100kg, squat rack... anything I could imagine to have a proper workout. It's just hot as hell in there. The 25m pool was near empty in the mornings as well, so don't forget to grab a pair of goggles. OTHER There were plenty of children during our stay, expect screams during dinner, bowl tossing and general commotion. If you want to relax without any children around, you shouldn't come here, this hotel is definitely children friendly. We didn't have any issues with that tho.…
