Excellent location just outside the walls of Montefalco, Italy. Older villa, samll numer of rooms; beautiful gardens, but walls block views of countryside. swimminf pool not the cleanest and again, no views. Hotel specializes in wine tasting events; guests take second place. Breakfast served in the lower level ; no outsdie views. But, Montefalco is a fabulous location for trips...

Within walking distance of the walls of Montefalco, this is truly a lovely place to stay. Our hosts were warm and made us feel welcome. More importantly, since we were doing a self-drive tour, they provided us with great directions and other things to do in the local area. For example, they strongly suggested Bevagna, which wasn't on our radar...

For a unique experience, pass through the entrance into the Villa Pambuffetti Hotel and you enter an Umbrian family palazzo, once their summer home, backing up to the walled hill-top town of Montefalco. The palazzo is in a park-like setting surrounded by evergreen oaks and century old cedar and cypress trees. We were told one great cypress tree is three...

Having spent 4 days in the Villa, it grew on me. The positive: some of the staff are very dedicated, good food, nice setting in Umbria, heated pool, comfy bed The negative: in need of renovation, it's quite simply dated. For a 4* hotel they need to redo things like the showers, put in new phones, revamp the pool, in...

We stopped at this hotel without reservations and were lucky enough to get a room...and not just any room. We were given the tower room with spectacular views over Umbria. The inn and its grounds are beautiful, with established trees and vegetation (some of the trees, we were told, were over 300 years old). The inn itself is beautiful, with...

The location is excellent, and the rooms are decent [the bed was very comfortable] but they stuck us in a room on the road, so street noise was disturbing. The bathroom was not comfortable, and not as clean as I would have liked. The breakfast was very disappointing, despite the extra cost. I think the rooms in the villa itself...

We spent the month of October in Italy and stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels. Villa Pambuffetti was one of the best! Our room at the top of the tower had views in every direction! The breakfasts and dinners were superb! The grounds were beautiful! And our cooking class with Anna was a highlight of our trip! We...

Yes, this is a wonderful place, beautiful setting, wonderful meals under the stars and a great location. We stayed in the Annex as the hotel was full, and I would not recommend it because of the road noise, even though we were told that it wouldn't be a problem. Also, there was no view from the rooms, which was such...
