For my wife, 19 year old daughter and I, this was the 2nd week in a 2 centre holiday (the first was in Tuscany) and our first visit to Umbria. From every point of view we had a truly fantastic week. The hotel owner, Maurizio and his wife, really treated us as members of the family and we felt like...

A very good hotel in a splendid setting: delightful Umbrian hill-town within a few minutes walk, superb grounds, attentive and friendly staff, lovely rooms and a marvellous atmosphere. With only some 15 rooms you're not going to be crowded out by other guests nor will you be waiting for anything. In fact you're treated more like family than a paying...

We'd spotted a brief reference to Villa Pambuffetti in Conde Naste Traveller. It looked inviting and we booked two weeks' half board directly with the property. We weren't disappointed. The hotel has fifteen...
