Yes they have a balcony. I stayed in February /March and because it was always shaded it was never warm enough to sit out there. The streets around the hotel are fairly quiet but not particularly attractive so if sitting out on the balcony is important to you, then I would say it was worth paying for a room overlooking the pool.
