First impression were good, including the room we had. But when we looked closer it was not so good afterall. On the good side was the fact we had a large room and all the equipment as in plates etc were fine - but, the cooker was dirty, the toaster sounded like it was going to blow up the microwave... Had a fortnight in a standard studio and for money paid it was worth it. Only 2 mins walk to Seafront and 5 mins walk to Bus Station, Casino, Bugibba Sqaure. Front Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant but Chef, waitress and waiter gets 10/10 for being so lovely, attentive and willing to please. Take a mosquito plug in... More

This wasn't as dreadful experience as some people have described, but the hotel was indeed dated and substandard for a 3-star accommodation (the rating must be from 1993 like some of the awards hanging around the reception...). I should start by saying that it is not easy to find the place as it lacks any hotel like characteristic features. I... More

We stayed at the Clover from 24th Sept - 8th Oct 2015, and loved it. Most aspects were worthy of a 4* hotel, but the prices were exceptionaly resonable. One of the most impressive qualities was the standard of cleanliness, the whole complex was very clean, including the pools, and the room was cleaned daily to a high standard, and... More

It has a great location close to the promenade and bus stop and the tourist street with all the pubs and restaurants. We had a really good time it was clean unlike other reviewers said. We were expecting something worse and were surprised how clean it was. Some of the appliances are old but they are working. It was really... More

Thought we would take a chance as there was mixed reviews and the package cost reasonable. Where to start, good news, the staff we met were all friendly and extremely helpful sorting out the immediate problems very quickly (aircon packed up on first day and balcony door jammed). Public areas and rooms kept clean Bad news, struggling to cope with... More

Me and two girl friends stayed at this hotel for a week from 27/08 and to be honest we weren't expecting much. Partly due to not paying a lot in the first place, so naturally didn't expect 5* standards but also because of the recent reviews we'd read. People were quite negative about the hotel, pool, rooms and staff and... More

Well located place, near bus station and buggiba, nice staff at the reception. Hairdryer doesn't work, apartment dirty, bathroom taps very disgusting, it was horrible everytime you need to touch them, i think they have not been ever cleaned. Bad cleaning in general. Floor Aisles of the whole hotel dirty also. Bad smell all time. If you are not a... More
