After reading negative reviews we can only speak as we found. After a delay at airport with Jet 2 !! we arrived to a very speedy check in at the Seashells, room ready and reception staff informative. Room was clean, spacious and equiped with all we needed. During our weeks stay the cleaners came in every day, changed towels if...

Many thanks for reviewing our hotel. We are glad you were generally satisfied with the all inclusive package as well as most of the hotel amenities. It is good news to read that our front office staff gave you a good check in as well as enough information. We are happy you will consider returning - Valletta is next year...

The rooms were quite large really clean and had room service everyday. Staff are friendly and always on hand. The hotel is a pleasant walk to Bugiba and there is a bus stop across the road and the buses will take you anywhere in Malta. The pool area is spotless with more than enough sunbeds . There is a vast...

Overall: 2-4, average 3-. There would possibly be a potential for a higher level raising the performance on a number of things, all basically determined by the management. Comments: room 121 is a no-go area, stay away if they offer it, and insist on getting something decent (see below). Visiting the reception on several occasions in connection with this room,...

Whilst thanking you for reviewing our hotel, we would like to underline that the room originally assigned to you (121) had a front sea view when you had booked a side sea view, brand new bedding, new tiling in all areas including a new bathroom with walk in shower and flat screen TV. As all of our rooms this room...

We stayed here end of October/Beginning of November 2016 and it's a very nice hotel. Very clean, tidy, rooms are really nice. Restaurant was good, food was nice and well cooked. Location was ideal especially if you want to try all the local restaurants! It's about 40/50 minutes to the capital Valletta on a bus which runs literally right outside...

We thank you for reviewing our hotel and for giving such positive comments. Indeed in November we had a massive storm, reason for which we had to close the pool for 4 days until all damage was repaired. The same storm effected various hotels, some of the damage caused was even greater than ours in some other hotels and locations....

A first time visit which will.indeed turn into many return visits for the future. Marble flooring and brass coloured handle rails on the interior of a modern appearing facia Simplicity instead of complexity. I stayed in a beautiful room on the 7th floor and a sea view worth enjoying for the entire break. The sunrise over the bay is priceless....

We thank you for a very encouraging review - we are glad that your first trip to Malta and Seashells was such a success that we have persuaded you to return. We have just returned from a four night stay at Seashells Hotel in Malta. The hotel and it's services were not quite what we expected. The main issue we had was with the room cleaner. We stayed on the second floor and everyday the room not not cleaned. We had to ring Guest Relations 3 times to have this sorted....

Whilst thanking you for your feedback, we are glad you acknowledged that our guest relations staff dealt with your situation - that is what they are there for. All our pools indeed have sea water - like many pools in Malta, since sweet water is so scarce. Of course this is a matter of habit and preference - it is...

Just back from three nights at this resort. This was our first stay at this hotel after a number of stays in higher category hotels. We were generally not disappointed though some minor improvements could benefit guests. We booked through the Hotel directly. It must be stated that Ms Larissa Psaila was extremely helpful during the process. We were also...

We stayed at this hotel when attending the lost and found festival. What an absolutely lovely hotel, extremely clean, staff friendly and the food was great. Couldn't have asked for more from the hotel.

In few words we are glad our hotel appeals to young people as well. We send warm regards from Malta.

We enjoyed 7 days of sun during our stay at Seashells and excellent customer service from the hotel staff. The hotel is a great location if you want to get the bus to Valletta or go on a day cruise to Gozo and Comino.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Seashells Resort at Suncrest has been a leading 4 star hotel on the Maltese Islands since its very first days and has kept its tradition of hospitality within the AX group throughout the years. We decided that it was time to give the Qawra hotel a face-lift so during the winter months the hotel underwent an extensive renovation programme. Its doors will re-open again on the 1st of April 2015. The new face of the Seashells Resort at Suncrest, your number one resort for individual, corporate and family travel. The property is conveniently located on the Salina to St Paul's Bay Promenade, merely a few minutes' walk away from the National Aquarium. You can make use of the very handy bus stop that is situated just opposite the hotel entrance. Take a left outside the hotel and you will immediately start walking towards all the hustle and bustle of Bugibba and Qawra, the main tourist hub on the island. Take a right and you'll be heading out on to the coast road for a 20 minute drive to St Julian's to enjoy the most popular night life spot in Malta. The hotel is located on the seafront for fantastic views of the Mediterranean and the best sunrise anyone could hope to wake up to. ... more   less
