Detailed Reviews
Apartment was very modern and the AC and wifi was a bonus.TV channels are useful if you ONLY understand maltese.I hired a car and the parking was rubbish, all the locals who lived nearby were parking there, leaving no parking spaces for us.
The other annoying thing was seeing stray cats and dogs everywhere and the pavements were full of poo everywhere.
Also a vacuum cleaner would be handy instead of a broom as there was a lot of hair everywhere in all the rooms ,which I did not find very hygienic.

Lovely clean apartment with loads of room in the lounge area with a sofa and dining table for 4. Plenty of crockery, cutlery etc which made for a comfortable self catering stay. Our apartment was on the 4th floor which was accessible by a small lift. It was a bit out of the way - maybe a 15 min walk at a decent pace - but it was really close to the main bus route giving easy access to the whole island, Gozo ferry terminal and airport.
Only downside to the apartment was the promised "balcony overlooking the internal courtyard". This was incredibly small - single file standing room only - which overlooked the area where walls/roof met - not the internal courtyard/ balcony we imagined from the description. Certainly not able to relax on after a days sightseeing!.
The area, although fine, was definately lacking in soul, consisting of 100s apartment blocks and bars/restuarants catering for tourists. All round a decent base for our first time in Malta but would probably choose to go elsewhere for our next visit.
Trip to Gozo was well worth it and used the hop on/hop off bus to explore as much as we could in a day. Just one issue with the sightseeing buses - the red "city sightseeing" buses seems to have started using advertising in their commentary to generate income whilst the green "Malta sightseeing" gave loads more interesting info about Malta and the areas travelled.

Just returned from these apartments, they were clean, practical and comfy enough for a 10 day stay. They are tucked away at the top of a side street and overlook a patch of waste ground that is used for parking, not pretty but it seems the norm. I don't think all apartments have a proper balcony so it may be best to check when you book, we had apt 3 and had the sun on the balcony all afternoon but they seem to list balconies as "overlooking an internal courtyard" do not book if that is the only one you have be sure to check you have a front facing balcony if you want to sit out. There were a few bulbs needed replacing and the apt wasn't cleaned for the length of our stay ( well only by us ). They are fairly well located it just takes a while to get your bearings, Qawra is about 15 mins away but a bit of an uphill drag if you walk back, Buggiba is 10 to 15 mins away and more on the level. The most important thing is to be sure you check in at White Dolphin, we had at least 3 couples turn up during our stay who had been bought direct to Belmont court and then had a mile and a half round trip to walk to white dolphin and back to check in, not a great start to a holiday. Free Wi-Fi and air con are included.
Overall they are practical, basic apartments, just don't expect too much for the price you pay.

Myself and a friend unfortunately did not book to stay in this apartment, however due to some problems with accommodation on arrival to Malta, this room was found for us last minute luckily.
We stayed in the large 2 bedroom apartment which we was grateful for at such short notice. However that is where the goodness ends.
Staying in this apartment really dampened our trip and the service was absolutely appauling to say the least.
It was almost impossible to get hold of the managers which we had to do almost on a daily basis as nothing worked.
The appliances that were supposed to be available with the room were either broken or not provided.
There was no hot water, no washing up utensils, no additional toilet paper, a TV that didn't work and a door that was half broken!
We just about managed to sleep with the thinest sheets possible.
The staff that eventually turned up had a horrible attitude towards us and accused us of things which were down to their sheer carelessness. Threatening to charge us for their own mistakes. What abysmal!
I would not recommend staying her due to the awful service and lack of quality.
There are plenty of hotels nearer the square that would be better suited than here.

Great apartment, a few steps away from Bugibba and Qawra center. Lot of parking spaces on a field just in front of the door. Very friendly personel at the White Dolphin Complex Hotel where you have to check in.

Prior to booking, we were advised that there was plenty of parking available. There was not a parking spot anywhere to be found – the courtyard, an unfinished area of land is just vacant land that hasn’t been levelled or finished off in anyway, full of cars. Belmont Court Apartments is set amongst very high-density high-rise units, built for permanent residents, not holiday-makers. There are no facilities for holiday makers. Skuna St doesn’t come up on the Navigator – and 4 locals we asked didn’t know it either. Upon arrival, my husband and I, with 2 children under 11, waited 40 min in hot sun before someone showed us the room. The locals starred at us, and our luggage, as we waited and it felt very uneasy, like waiting in the Bronks for someone.
The apartment is only accessible via a very small lift, after you walk up 2 flights of stairs with your luggage. There is no air-conditioning to the 2nd bedroom and you couldn’t swing a cat on the balcony, not that you would want to see the view. The Qawra promenade is beautiful, in stark contrast to Belmont Court Apartments.
Belmont Court Apartments are about 20minutes walk from anything decent. It’s not suitable if you have children under 12 years of age or someone who has difficulty walking/steps.
Although we paid, we were horrified with the location – and all the other lies, and decided not to stay. We sought a refund and found accommodation elsewhere that evening. The refund was declined and ‘Wayne’ was quite rude and insulting to us.
Apart from this experience, we had a beautiful time in Malta and can’t wait to go again. Save yourself the disappointment and don’t go to Belmont Court Apartments. We are NEVER going back to Belmont Court Apartments. I will, however, definitely enjoy Malta again.

i stayed here last October...had the 2 bed apartment all to myself. very spacious and clean. had to get them to change the toaster which was done the very next day. If you walk across the parking area/grass wasteland at the front of the property and past the church you are in Turisti street (tourist street) for the bars and bus station etc a 5 minute walk...but come out the property front door and turn left you are in Qawra and along the seafront in minutes...bus stop at the end of that road to take you to the sights etc but as a tip just walk to the bus station as buses won't stop at that stop if they are full. My only downside would be that cooking with the gas oven/hob...the fumes were a bit much...much prefer electric cooking when i stay self catering. The beds could have had more covers...i took the covers off the spare beds in the other room...although luckily it weren't too cold at night..i had very nice weather. People moaning about apartments not being cleaned don't seem to get the concept of self-catering or renting an apartment...for that week you treat it as you would your own!! I would definitely stay here again. friendly staff and after booking in and having lunch at the white dolphin the owner gave me a lift to the apartments! I enjoyed my stay here...thank you x

The apartment was clean, kitchen had all cookware, so for economy on food we were making breakfast by ourselfes. TV was showing local channels. We had two separate beds, they were not very comfortable and Air conditioner was not working, it was not hot so it wasnt a problem. But we liked this apartment. We havent saw any cockroach's. If you want to save money its a good choice.

My friend and I were put in this apartment reluctantly as the apartment we had booked 6 months prior to our trip had cocked up our reservation, taken our money and over booked (Central suites on St Pauls Bay). On our arrival the apartment looked ok, it had everything we needed for our stay whilst we visited the Lost & Found Festival. However, it was half an hour from Cafe Mambo (where you catch the shuttle to get to the festival site every day) so we were stung paying hefty taxi fee's the whole time. We noticed there was blood on one of the sheets in one of the rooms when we arrived and rang one of the hosts who said that she'd bring another sheet. On her arrival she looked at the sheets and said that we would have to pay a fine as it was fresh blood (please note the blood had gone a disgusting brown colour so I've no idea what her idea of 'fresh' was) which completely enraged me, I proceeded to show her that my friend nor I had any wounds to our bodies and therefore neither of us was responsible and would NOT be paying anything. We also had no hot water for the duration of our stay, they hadn't bothered to turn the boiler on, we managed to find the switch to turn it on, but was luke warm water for a few minutes. The apartment had english plugs and they had given a TV and a hair dryer with european plug sockets....
They did not provide anything thicker than a blanket as a cover for the beds, the temperature drops significantly in the evenings in Malta in April so both of us have come home with flu. The bed also had bed bugs so my friend and I are covered in bites (absolutely disgusting)
I wouldn't advise ever booking these apartments. There are some lovely hotels on St Pauls Bay which are a little more in price but well worth it!

The apartment is nice, spacious and well equipped with the exception of the microwave. The location is a little hidden away as the flats are 15 mins walk from the reception but there is a bus stop close by and a supermarket within walking distance. Our trip was marred by a serious ant and insect problem within the apartment, we asked maintenance for spray which was provided, but this made little difference. In addition we experienced a bizarre incident where another couple unlocked our door and walked in, it arised that they had been given our room key because reception had made a mistake, but lack of security is simply unacceptable.

There are no hair dryers there and unless they are left by the previous occupant there are none of the other items either.
