Seaview Hotel's prime location garners positive remarks from most guests, who enjoy the easy access to nearby attractions, despite occasional noise complaints. The staff's warm and professional service consistently enhances the visitor experience. While the clean, modern rooms with impressive views are well-liked, the presence of loud music and construction noise is a common concern.
The hotel's amenities, particularly the rooftop pool and hearty breakfast, receive high praise, though the cool pool temperature and noise have been noted. Opinions on value vary, with some guests appreciating the reasonable pricing during happy hour, and others finding certain aspects not worth the expense.

Detailed Reviews
This hotel was a last minute change from our booked hotel and I am delighted that we made the change.
The hotel is facing the beach, less than 5 minutes from the main square and surrounded by restaurants and bars.
Our room was spacious, we were in the terraced city view as there were no sea views left to book. I don't think that I would book a terrace again, we literally only used about 4 square foot of it! Not sure if those rooms are bigger or not but you don't go on holidays to stay in the room! Air con was fab and well used!
Breakfast was lovely every morning, and for those who said there was no variety, there was an enormous variety of everything to start with so I am not sure what you think they can swap out? Masks on throughout the hotel and temps taken every morning going into the restaurant. Food was also served to you, I assume to cut down on cross contamination.
We ate at both the Maltese and the Greek restaurants onsite and would highly recommend them. Just a tip for wherever you are eating, book ahead!!!! eating seems to be the nightly entertainment so seats can be at a premium most nights.
The pool was perfect, on the roof, an infinity pool and bar with food. No issues getting sunbeds though we were there in Sept so maybe it's easier then? One side of the pool has a large pergola type structure to give shade though we never used that side.
Staff were also lovely - we didn't have many dealings with them but they were helpful and polite when we needed help.
On the last day we were able to use the -2 shower room which was perfect as out flight was quite late and they stored our luggage for us.
The only issue I would have is that the cleaning is very hit and miss. Some days our room was done beautifully, others it seemed to be a lick and a spit, the terrace was only cleaned a couple of times in the 2 weeks we were there. They hosed down the pool area every morning but that didn't necessarily clean it effectively.
Even with that I am happy to give the Seaview 5 out of 5 though as everything else was so lovely!! We will be back!

Just returned from an 11 night stay at the Seaview adults only hotel... The location is on the Qawra / Bugibba border over looking St Paul's bay, ideally situated for bars and restaurants and a small man made 'beach' area is close by. Rooms are big with huge comfy beds and cleaned daily to a high standard, we had a 5th floor sea view room with a large balcony and beautiful views of the bay, my advice is to book a seaview room and ask for a room on the upper floors (5 - 9) for the best views and as the hotel is situated on the main coast road it's much quieter, the jewel in the crown is the roof top infinity pool which has spectacular views of the bay.
The reasons why I haven't given a 5 star rating are small but I think are valid points.
The roof top terrace area could be utilised better as the sun beds are crammed too close together with too many table and chairs for drinks / snacks taking up limited space.
The 'back ground' music at the pool area was loud and more suited to an 18/30's holiday even though the vast majority of people were 45+
The breakfasts are varied and plentiful, however, avoid busy periods (9 - 10) as the food and drinks are located in a small area which turns into a busy bustling market place and near impossible to avoid bumping into people.
Although the majority of people were wearing face masks at breakfast and whilst walking round the hotel and in lifts, some people were blatantly flaunting the rules by showing little consideration for other guests but hotel staff seemed to turn a blind eye.
I don't want the above points to put anyone off staying at the Seaview Hotel, overall, the hotel is lovely and the location is superb for exploring Malta, we had a very enjoyable holiday and would stay here again the next time we visit Malta.

+1
Amazing place, hotel has a very good location. Views from pool area are amazing. Breakfast was very varied and had a really good self service coffee machine close to the outdoor seating area. We booked a side sea view room last minute and for value it was amazing. Hotel also has 2 really good restaurants on site (Manakis and Gululu). We tried the Greek manakis and hands down, dinner was one of the best we've had in a long time.
Now, here comes the little negatives. Since hotel is brand new and may be owners / management are new to the hotel business some small details are lacking. For example, with regards to the room, although nice and spacious, it lacked certain basic amenities such as an iron, ironing board and basic toiletries such as body lotion and toothpaste. Furthermore, since shower doesn't have a plastic divider, when you shower water ends up near the toilet which is not ideal.
On an other note, pool area is simply amazing but lack of umbrellas makes it very hot to stick around in Malta's hot weather. Also lack of staff ie pool personnel makes rubbish left by guests on the floor or on tables abit annoying.
Having said that, I'd definitely go again to this adult only hotel, as it felt really nice, luxurious and comfortable

LIKES:
* Excellent Location; Newly built hotel on seafront, close to a square with very good restaurants, bars and pubs. A nice walk or run can be enjoyed on the promenade. A treat for early morning runners
* Free Underground Parking; Limited Spaces
* Two restaurants on either side of the hotel are wonderful
* Very courteous and helpful staff at the reception and restaurants. The reception staff were very responsive to the customer’s needs. On the day of the check out, I had to take an early morning flight and the water supply to the bathroom got suddenly cut out. Kevin at reception immediately made another room available with a fully functional bathroom. Angelo and Stefano at the reception were very helpful, as were Hannah and Lara at the restaurant.
* Very well appointed large rooms with on-suite toilet and walk-in shower. Facilities include; small fridge, tea making equipment, locker, TV and hair dryer. Plenty of electrical sockets and USB outlets to charge the devices. Very effective air conditioning. Very nice view from the balcony. Black out curtains.
* Fast and stable Internet
* Extra large bed with a very comfortable mattress (medium to firm) and pillows.
* The room was cleaned very well everyday; with change of linen and bed sheets
* Roof top pool is amazing.
* Exceptional Breakfast; hot and cold entries; four to five dishes of cold meats and cheese, five to six dishes of salads/ fresh fruits, baked items, fruit juices (not fresh), Two different kinds of eggs, three to four hot meat and vegetarian dishes each, cereals, tea/coffee, four to five kinds of bread and so on. Freshly cooked eggs on some days. Slight variation in the menu during the week.
DISLIKES:
* The pubs and night clubs in front of the hotel are quite noisy till midnight; which may cause issues for the seafront rooms.
* The person who prepared fresh eggs during breakfast was only present intermittently and not there on most days.
* Maintenance response was slow. The phone in the room wasn’t working and it took repeated reminding over three days to get it fixed. On the morning of the check out the water supply to the room suddenly cut out while I was using the wash basin.
* Having a light over the bathroom mirror will be useful.
* Hotel provides body wash for showering and claims it can be used for hair shampooing and conditioning. No dedicated shampoo and conditioner .
* No room service
* A complementary bottle of water was provided on arrival but not replaced on the subsequent days.
* Bathroom sandals or gowns not provided

Brand new hotel with sensational views of a gorgeous stretch of coastline with a perfect crystal clear swimming spot directly opposite.
We were in room 216 which had a gigantic double bed and a balcony with panoramic sea views. The room was a great size, soundproofed, very comfortable with a huge shower!
The roof top area and infinity pool were fabulous, the perfect spot to take in the breathtaking views and grab some sun! Or if you don’t fancy the unheated infinity pool, the underground heated pool with spa jets was delightful for an early morning dip.
My only criticism would be the breakfast buffet. It was too crowded and the selection was basic but I’d recommend this hotel to all couples looking for a comfortable base with great facilities.
Special mention of Stefano who was very friendly, professional and courteous!

Room wasnt ready and we had to hang around for 4 hours. No drink offered. Lots of wardrobe space and shelves, but would be nice if there were doors on it. Also, hanging space drop was not long enough for dresses.
All the chairs in this hotel, including in the room, balcony, and at roof top dining, are plastic. Be prepared to lose some skin off the bottom of your legs, or make sure you have a towel with you to sit on.
The noise from doors slamming from early morning was annoying.
The bathroom tap was loose, the bathroom door didn't close properly, and the shower leaked.
Whenever we asked to put something on the room, and we ate and drank there a lot, they would say "I will check if that is okay", which got quite annoying by the second week.
Pool area - I hate the way that the sunbeds are right next to each other, in regimented lines. Sometimes hard to get on and off them! There was no opportunity to move them around. Also, there is just a solid roof, no umberellas, so you are either in the sun or out of it, and at times there was s no opportunity for shade, and it was up in the 30's when we were there. Got fed up with other people's smoke wafting over to us, yuk. Ate lunch up there a lot, food generally good, but menu needs more variety, even daily specials would bave helped. Infinity pool full of people posing and taking selfies as already said, and often lots of people drinking in there, I swear at times I was swimming in alcohol.
The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. Room cleaned daily, and the evening turndown service was helpful. I can see why people like this hotel, but I wouldnt go back mainly because of the pool area and sunbeds.

Dear Beith, Thank you very much for taking the time and sharing your amazing experience regarding your stay with us. As we had the pleasure to explain to you during your arrival time which was early morning morning; check in time is at 3pm. We also have free flowing flavored water at the Reception desk of which everyone during check in time is offered such refreshment. As well anyone can make free use of it any time during their stay. Our chairs are made of different material in all areas, some of wood, some of metal, some of leather and some of hard perspex / plastic. This depends if such chairs are in the restaurant, bars, in room furniture, outdoor furniture and conference hall. I'm sorry about the inconvenience you experienced re some minor issues in your room but I'm sure that our maintenance team did come and address them (as per our records) as soon as these were reported. Since we have our pool on the 10th floor we have done a big investment in installing 2 large electrical canopies to cater for guests who would like to have shading and other areas for guests whom would like to enjoy the sun. As you could notice during your stay at times it can be windy at level 10 and placing umbrellas can be dangerous and can cause some major incidents. Thank you for sharing your feedback about the menu variety, we will definitely take your input on board. I'm glad to learn that you found our team to be helpful and polite - we are very proud to have such a wonderful team working together to deliver the best possible service to all our guests. Once again I thank you for sharing your feedback with us and for your positive overall rating. I look forward to welcome you with us in the near future. Kind Regards, Gilbert Schembri General Manager

We have just spent a very relaxing two weeks at this hotel. When we arrived there was a leak in the bathroom (which you could argue should have been picked up by housekeeping) but the matter was dealt with very quickly. Without 10 minutes of reporting we were in another room, the Manager came with an apology and escorted us to a new room with someone to take our bags. We had no other problems and never experienced the issue other reviewers have commented on regarding using the "make up room sign". The rooms are large, with a fridge and free use of the safe and a large comfy bed. We had a side seaview room which had the sun all afternoon and we could sit and watch the sunset over the island. The hotel is extremely clean and I witnessed the Manager having sunbeds replaced to allow cleaning of 2 or 3 which had dirty marks. Breakfast had just about everything you could want with eggs cooked to order if you wished. The hotel celebrated its 1 year anniversary whilst we were there with the Management welcoming everyone to breakfast and offering a bite size celebration cake with a glass of something sparkling. We thought this a very nice gesture, although we did hear people complaining it wasn't champagne! We also had a fruit plate delivered to our room on a couple of occasions which was a nice gesture. The rooftop pool is lovely, with fabulous views. Thank you Saraya for looking after us so well. We ate at the rooftop restaurant one evening when there was live music. The act was great and there was a lovely atmosphere . They do this a few times a week My only negative about this is there are too many sunbeds for the area and on occasion it became a little cramped. However, I do understand the hotel are trying to cater for as many guest as possible. There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants close by. We would recommend Coasterrs and Francobello. Overall, lovely, quiet hotel with nice bars and restaurants close by. We would happily return here.

Stayed in the brand new Seaview hotel 9th - 16th July. From check in to check out it was simply beautiful. Very attentive staff, lovely caring owners pop in past from time to time to ensure guests happiness. Angelo (owner) is very efficient, friendly and approachable should you have any issues during your stay. Rooms have amazing sea views at a supplement but well worth it, free WiFi and free safe, tea coffee facilities and very useful fridge. Breakfast is well organised and plentiful. Rooftop infinity pool is stunning, lots of loungers and a reasonably priced pool bar serving drinks and snacks. I didnt use the indoor pool or gym but it seemed to be used by quite a few guests. Cant wait to return in Sep. Thank you to all the staff who work tirelessly to ensure your stay is what you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights from Saturday 10th July. A very pleasant young gentleman by the name of Angelo checked us in and he was very friendly,
polite and professional. All the staff in this hotel are extremely pleasant and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The rooftop infinity pool has amazing views. There is a bar available on the roof terrace with a wide range of drinks and cocktails. I highly recommend the mojito. Breakfast is served in a very pleasant dining area where your temperature is checked upon entry. Breakfast choices are adequate with various hot and cold food and drink options available. A lady at breakfast (sorry I didn’t get her name) frequently checked we had everything we needed and asked if there was anything she could do for us and I felt this was a nice touch. Rooms offer a kettle, fridge and coffee maker (with coffee pods supplied). A bottle of ice cold water was in the fridge on our arrival and this very welcome. The sea view rooms are perfect and have the most amazing views. All in all I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway in an idyllic location. 5*****

My first stay in the Sea View although a visitor of over eighteen years and multiple trips to the lovely island of Malta.
I remember the old Sea View hotel which was minor in comparison. This very modern and impressive upgrade though was very enjoyable. I had a fabulous 9th floor sea view room with absolutely superb views. My room was spacious, modern, with all the essential additions, en suite, fridge, large flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, room safe - perfect!
The indoor pool was very relaxing to swim in as was the sea directly opposite the hotel. The hotel is ideally situated. Very close to numerous bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The bus terminal is very close as well although some buses do serve the road outside the hotel.
The hotel also boast a stunning roof top pool, sauna and gym.
On a breakfast basis only, I found the food very nice, a vast choice, including full English and continental among other things. Staff were very attentive and busy, keeping the food replenished and the area clean.
Two things did slightly tarnish my stay, although this could easily be rectified with a little staff training.
My Maltese work colleague joined me for a drink in the hotel bar one afternoon. Upon him receiving his drink (at the bar) it had become obvious a fly was in the drink. The barmaid used a spoon to remove the fly rather than pour him a new one. We were both rather shocked by this and just sat down as opposed to raising an objection.
The second point, a staff (Private) room on the 9th floor saw staff randomly use this room but always slam the door when doing so. I don’t believe it had a soft door closing mechanism on it. The slamming of the door was quite constant at times and very annoying as it was just two doors away from my room. I did raise this with the receptionist, who, to be fair seemed to trivialise my complaint. Needless to say, the slamming continued.
All in all, those two points didn’t ruin my stay in this beautiful hotel. I wouldn’t hesitate to return here and do recommend it. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, including the nice bottle of sparkling wine I received as this stay coincided with my birthday.

We paid for our drinks when leaving the restaurant every evening. We travelled in March and didn't pay departure tax. Fridges in room so we got snacks from local supermarket if we needed them. . We stayed on half board basis.
We stayed last week. The work is on the left as you look out from the hotel to the sea. It ls variable on noise levels and is mostly during the day staying at 7am but you can hear it when you have your door open or are ok the balcony.
as the construction work is all over the island don’t let this put you off just something to be aware of, not sure there are many hotels in such good locations which don’t have some external building work happening
You’ll have a great stay the staff are great and Malta is a gem
