Lovely 3 * hotel in a garden setting, next to a park. We had a car so although it was a little away from town, we loved the setting. It has retained a lot of its original character, yet the rooms have been renovoted and is modern enough. Our shower might have had a leak as the floor became quite...

I stayed in the Gradina Morii Hotel from the 16th of October to the 01 November 2016, and it was the best experience I have ever had in ANY hotel that I have ever been in anywhere in the world (and I travel a lot). First the management: Unlike most hotels where it is unheard of for the owner to...

While we had a very nice room here, others in our group did not. The elevator only goes to the 2nd floor, so friends of ours had to lug suitcases up the extra flights. Otherwise the hotel was pleasant and clean.

Stopped on the terrace for a coffee and a lemonade. From the back terrace you have a great view of the garden and the hills behind. You also can eat here... and after that, if you feel fed up, you can cross the Iza river and climb the hill for an even greater view!

This is a 2 star hotel at best. Traveling with a group presented incredible inconsistencies in the rooms. Some had no air conditioning. Others has portable units. The elevator only goes to the 2nd floor. Those staying on the 3rd floor had to carry luggage up a flight of stairs. There are no spare electrical outlets. The bathrooms have no...

We stayed here for 1 night in mid July 2016 and really enjoyed our stay. We were a party of 4 and booked 3 rooms. Each room was different (in terms of view, size etc) but all members of the party were very happy with their room. A surprise was the restaurant which was excellent. I had the pasta which...

We were only eating at Gradina Morii , but we all agreed ( a group of 10 ) that it was the best food that we had in a ten days Transilvania and Maramures tour . Very good service, kind people, amazing surrounding.

A comfortable well appointed room. A pleasant location by a river, if a little isolated. Nice gardens. Friendly english speaking staff. The hotel had recently been renovated and the decor was pleasant. Private free parking. I was upgraded to a junior suite which was on the 3rd floor. The lift only goes to the second floor and the room and...
