We stayed at The Charleston while we were on a leisurely road trip, and it was an outstanding experience. The room was perfect, the breakfast was delicious, and Willa and Dixi were warm, gracious and helpful but not intrusive. It is one of the nicest B&Bs I have ever visited.

I had to stay at a Vermont B&B while on a road trip through New England, and we just pulled into the Charleston house. It was a Sunday so it was empty and the owners gave us the nicest room for the price of their cheapest. The room was very clean and cozy with a very comfy bed. The next...

Dixi and his wife have run this place for 17 years and do it right. Nicely appointed rooms and very clean. Rooms have closets and suitcase racks. No locks on doors, so, be comfortable with that. Breakfast was sumptuous!

Had a wonderful experience at the Charleston House. Willa and Dixi were awesome. We were in N.E. on work and were doing insane hours. Going back to the Charleston House after was like returning home to a hot shower, crisp sheets and a comfortable bed. We slept so well! And breakfast really got us on the way. Loved it!

We stayed at Charleston House for 3 nights and it was wonderful!! Willa and Dixie are fantastic hosts. We called ahead to let them know we would be very late and they were so kind and professional. They gave us directions and when we arrived, our room was ready and the fireplace was lit! So comforting after a very long...

We had a great experience at this charming B & B. Willa and Dixie are great hosts & always willing to answer questions on places to see and eat. The breakfasts in the morning were wonderful. I'm a little picky, so one morning Willa fixed me scrambled eggs while everyone raved about their gourmet breakfast. Would stay again.

We stayed at Charleston House in June and couldn't have had a nicer experience. We were traveling through New England with no particular plans and when the rain started to fall just as we arrived in Woodstock, we stumbled upon this charming B & B. Willa and Dixe welcomed us and my immediate feeling was that we had rediscovered long...

I can support every compliment other reviewers have given this B&B and its wonderful hosts. One experience illustrates the kind of treatment guests can expect. The breakfasts Willa had planned for the three mornings my wife and I were there would not work for the restricted diet we're both on. Without batting an eyelash, Willa revised the menus to make...

Willa and Dixie are charming hosts who made my traveling companions and me feel extremely welcome in their home. The gourmet breakfast they served was not only delicious but lived up to the philosophy that people feast first with their eyes. The plate was picture-perfect and was worthy of a food magazine cover! The location of their B&B is great...
