For those who enjoy modern design with a bit of whimsy, a stay at the Woodstocker is a real treat. The Woodstocker is a wonderful contrast to the usual "chintz upholstery and lace curtains" standard Vermont B&B. The hosts, David and Dora, have creatively and intelligently transformed the property into a very modern inn. Each room is uniquely designed with...

We stayed at the Woodstocker following a nice day hike in Vermont and it was the perfect place to relax and grab a snack. Dora, David and Stanley were great hosts by showing us around, giving some good tips on places to go and also pretty unassuming. This isn't the typical New England B&B, it's much nicer by not trying...

Delightful English hosts (2006 Vermont Innkeepers of the Year) welcome you and truly make you feel at home at this comfy, well appointed B&B. Large but cozy rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques while baths are modern (and so are the flat screen TVs) and are newly renovated with special touches like herbal soaps, characteristic of the choices of these...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Woodstocker Inn. The room was clean, comfortable and lovely; Dora, David and Stanley were most welcoming and the location was very convenient.

Coming from Africa and working in the luxury lodging industry, I can be critical of places I stay in when on holiday. I was looking for a perfect place for a weekend in the mountains with my girlfriend which would have a very relaxed atmosphere to allow us to spend some real quality time together. This was found at The...

The Woodstocker is a true find not only for the area, but for BandB's in general. The twin oversized clawfoot tubs in our bathroom, along with the wonderful lighting and comfortable beds made for a truly relaxing weekend. The library and amazing breakfast (I recommend the home-made granola), are only further complimented by the personalities of David, Dora and Stanley....

The Woodstocker Inn is a breath of fresh air among the stodgy and staid New England B&B business. The Innkeepers are warm, charming and serious about customer service. (Even their dog is adorable and cool!) The attention-to-detail and focus on the guests' comfort is evident from the minute you inquire about the Inn. The homemade breakfast and snacks are supreme....

I've stayed in many B&B's in Vermont and this is by far my favorite. Many of us from Boston and NYC visit VT to get away for the stressed out city dwellers and mingle with the laid back country folk in VT. The owners of the Woodstocker might possibly be the kindest and most thoughtful people in all of Vermont....

i received a gift certificate towards a weekend stay at the Woodstocker and immediately checked out their website-i could not wait to book a weekend away (for my husband and i, without 1 year old). We stayed for 2 nights in the beautiful and cozy Westminster room-claw foot soaking tubs, huge comfy bed, snazzy tv...we couldn't have asked for more....

Dear D2 & Stanley, Thank you for a great weekend. You went out of your way to make us feel at home in your home. From the organic cotton sheets to the mushroom, tomato and cheese omelette, everything was fabulous! The self-serve 24-hour kitchen, the never-ending supply of candy, and your help with planning our day hike up Mt. Tom...
