We stayed for two nights based on recommendation of friends. Quaint hotel near ronda. Family feel and operated with love and care. The personalized experience was exceptional from before arriving and while visiting. The food was some of the very best on our trip. Good for walking although strenuous. Overall an excellent experience

I hate to write this review. Because I do not like to disclose a good secrets! But this - I have to admit - is one of the best and funniest hotels I have ever visited. The rooms are nice and cosy. The British owner is crazy and funny. And the food in the restaurant is out of this world. What is even worse - the service is the best of the best. And prices of rooms, food including wines are very very reasonable. I give this hotel my very best recommendation.

So when we first arrived and saw the reception I was disappointed! I wasn’t expecting an antiquated hotel. We were then taken to our room and it had been locked and so smelled a little damp and I wondered how long we would actually stay! BUT it’s t was absolutely superb! Every single staff member was friendly, efficient and welcoming. The restaurant is OUT OF THIS WORLD good. We had amazing dinners and also booked a degustation evening which was really, really good. The presentation of their meals is awesome and the food was tasty. We enjoyed our cycle ride to Ronda which is a beautiful ride and a nice distance The pool area is beautiful and plenty of loungers. Their gardens are lovely too. Sitting out on the verandah in the evenings with the river roaring past you and ducks chasing each other is magical. The room, although quite old, was exceptionally clean and aircon worked well, which was a bonus. Andy was extremely helpful and helped us store our bikes with no worries. We will definitely be back when next we come to Spain
