Very nice staff.. friendly and willing to assist.. Sondra was great! Would like to see daily housekeeping services or at least remove old towels from the room take trash out and put new towels in.
Morning breakfast was an added bonus to wake up to.
The location was walkable to the Atlanta Gift show.
Would stay here again.

What makes this a little gem in downtown Atlanta is its staff. Outstanding front desk! A shout out to Maya at the front desk for outstanding customer service. The sparkle of this gem has to be its valet team. Professional, fast, efficient, courteous, and extraordinarily helpful. As a woman traveling alone, I was both surprised and pleased valet would escort me to my vehicle, open the door for me and helped me with the millions of things constantly in my arms every morning. Everyone at this hotel greeted me by my name for the entire 10 days day!
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Where I feel they need a bit more focus on is housekeeping. Nightstand drawers were filled with plastic forks and ketchup packets. When I opened the mini fridge in my room, there was spilled milk or cream that seemed to be there for some time and by then, of course made the refrigerator smell. I had arrived late at night so instead of waiting for the next day for housekeeping, I just washed the glass shelf of the fridge myself to keep it from smelling worse.
Don’t let these complaints deter you though, I would absolutely stay there again and these housekeeping items could be tweaked quickly.
Kudos to the entire staff, you should be proud of yourselves for making your guests feel so welcome!

The valet staff Devin especially was particularly professional kind and made us feel so very welcome. I felt like I was in a five star hotel just with a graciousness now he took our bags up unloaded each one talk to us about the room. He was overly kind thank you so much, Devin.

Springhill Suites, Downtown Atlanta, is located conveniently across from the Aquarium and close to the Coca Cola world.
Arrival and Check-In: 4/5 Check-in was great, I was greeted and welcomed by 2 members of staff. They were friendly and provided all information needed and was able to fulfil my request of being located near a work colleague during this business trip.
Rooms: 3/5 The room was a very decent size, with a workspace desk and sofa. The bed was not the most comfortable but wasn’t the worst. There was a blue sheet on the bed as an under sheet, which looked like an absorbent sheet for accidents. If you are going to use one, don’t use bright blue, when you have thin white sheets. The closet was compact, the hanging rail could have been higher to minimise long items touching the floor. There was signs of wear and tear all around the room. The headboard on the bed had area where the PVC had worn off, which is not a great look. On the wall near the closet, marks and dents were present, where the handle of the closet hits the wall and the ceiling was marked and looked like it needed to be re-painted.
Amenities: 4/5 The room had a mini fridge, coffee machine and a microwave for convenience. With hand soap, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner and a hair dryer. Charging points at both bed heads was very useful. The hotel lobby has a 'mini mart', which has a lot of bits, that you might need in between main meals. On arrival, I had to buy some large bottles of water and a juice, as I didn't get any when I arrived at the airport, very handy.
Service: 4/5 Nice staff, I was acknowledged every time I walked past and greeted at various times of the day.
Location: 4/5 Close to some major attraction points, I was warned many times not to walk around on my own and when it gets dark, due to the security of walking alone in the area as a female.
Overall: 3/5 I would probably not return, as I want to try other places, saying that. If it was available and I was at a push, I would consider it. I have never stayed at a SpringHill Suites, and was surprised at how nice it was, as I was expecting it to be not as good as a Courtyard, but it was just as good and worth trying out if you need to be located near landmarks, without breaking the bank.

Room would not cool down to 70 degrees even after 24 hours. Bedside lamps and things were unplugged on arrive but maintenance fixed those right away. Room lighting was some what impractical could not get it well lit at the desk area. The best part was the breakfast and the attendants. Shemekae and Shonda. Also somebwridbspot on the bed headboard paint maybe included picture.

The building is okay. The room had quite a few signs of ware and tear - headboard has a lot of scratches, cabinet handles are loose, the cabinet doors are misaligned, bathroom sink cabinet has a large shard of wood hanging off the bottom , etc. The room could have been cleaned a little better - hairs on and in the sink, ballpoint pen top on the floor, living area table had debris on it ( I give grace with the cleaning because I know that it is labor intensive and the housekeepers only have so much time to clean the rooms.). The Internet is very poor (I'm having to use my personal data to write this review.). For previously mentioned reasons, I am giving my stay a "3". The reasons that I am enjoying my stay are the front desk staff. Cooper was friendly when I checked in yesterday. And the staff seemed to have some comradery. Zamyah was helpful early this morning. Lastly, Shanda is helpful and friendly. She has a friendly attitude and let me know what was available for breakfast. As for breakfast, y'all need to have some hot grits on the buffet 🙂. Overall, my stay is pleasant. Thank you.

The staff inside the hotel--the front desk, the evening bartender at the Victory Restaurant and Bar, and especially the breakfast attendant Shonda--were all amazing and provided excellent service! The room was not cleaned to our basic standards--shower needed more attention and the tables were not wiped down. Additionally, the alarm clock went off at 5:24 this morning because it wasn't cancelled from the previous guests' stay. overall, we would visit again, but would definitely make sure we had a cleaner room. Thank you so much for the great service otherwise! That was definitely the best part of our stay.

TLDR - don't be swayed by the negative reviews. Just call Ms. Ruby White at front desk and book a room.
So, after having gone through a plethora of reviews for several hotels in the Downtown Atlanta area, I was honestly rather discouraged by many of the reviews I had read. Although, some of the concerns other reviewers mentioned are valid (i.e. - sirens and road noises throughout the night, hair in towels provided by housekeeping, non-working hairdryer, moldy bagels, etc), the positives far exceed any one or two negatives. To start, we were very kindly greeted at the valet by Cameo (Cam). He was very kind and courteous. He took care of our car and explained to us that if we called ahead for our car, that it would be ready in 5-10 mins. When we entered the hotel, we were warmly greeted and welcomed by Ruby and Taylor. These beautiful ladies were the highlight of our entire stay. They are every bit the reason for the five-stars review. We told Ruby that we were dining at one of the local restaurants and she provided us with a 10% discount card for the restaurant. She's very knowledgeable of the area and provided us with several great suggestions for the area. We love the modern security features they have in place where you need your room card to get into the hotel and elevators after a certain hour. The following mornings, we were welcomed into the dining area for breakfast by Shemeka. She was attentive and took care of our empty plates. Shemeka was personable without being overbearing. With all the guests that come and go, the team here genuinely prioritizes and takes pride in their customer service. A special shoutout to Ruby for allowing me to call her by the wrong name my entire stay. For as many faces as she sees, she addressed each one correctly by name in the most hospitable and courteous manner. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for one night in February 2024. The hotel's location was fantastic for everything we wanted to visit in Atlanta. There is valet parking in a very tight parking garage that you access from the side street of the hotel. The parking connects to the hotel. We arrived in the morning around 10am and by no means thought we would be able to get a room, but we were in luck, which was perfect for dropping off our bags and then we were off to see Atlanta. We were "upgraded" to a city view. I'm not sure I would call it an upgrade as it seemed like a normal room and also seemed a little small, but it did overlook the parking garage to the Aquarium. The room was mostly clean, but there was a gross sucker stick under the desk, which seemed out of the open, so I'm not sure how that got missed during cleaning. I will say they are in a hurry to turn over rooms each day, as we had our do not disturb sign out, but the next morning around 9am, there was housekeeping knocking on our door, which we ignored, but that led to the housekeeper just opening the door and trying to come in, thankfully we had the doorstopper out. The room was small, a little tricky to nagivate with just two of us because it was tight. The bathrooms was a sliding pocket door, that left a big gap when you closed it, so it never felt private. We were on a high floor, but as usual with any city, you will hear traffic noise throughout the night. There was free breakfast in the lobby in the morning, but honestly was quite underwhelming with not many hot choices in my opinion. There were two kinds of sausage and then several items in wrapped packages like breakfast sandwiches and muffins. The best part of this hotel for us was the location. It was a quick 10-15 minute walk from the hotel to the Aquarium, World of Coca Cola (which I recommend skipping), and the Civil & Human Rights Museum. If you walk another 5 minutes, you'll be in the Olympic Park area. There are also lots of restaurants within a 15-25 minute walk from the hotel.

Great location: across the street from Aquarium, Human Rights Museum and the Coca-Cola Building. Not much time to sightsee. The entrance is not very convenient. There is no pull up to unload luggage or designated canopy (in the case of rain). The front of the hotel, allows for just a pullover and drop off margined by a bike lane. So my Uber dropped me off over decorative rocks!. As far as parking, there is a covered valet lot. However the driveway yo the lot is for both enter and exit. A little clumsy an.d not thought out.
The room was comfortable, AC, TV and plugs worked. Both USD and AC power next to bed. No full length mirror. Canisters of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, no individuals. Water pressure of shower was about 6 of of 10. Not very forceful and only 7 inlets. Hot water fine...Cold water fine....sink faucet was loose, but functional. Did not present a problem. Helpful and pleasant staff, complementary breakfast full continental with cereals, oatmeal, sausage and eggs.
Overall good clean stay. Must have key to enter all times of the day. When I arrived, no shower gel but once I told the front desk it was replenished. I did not venture out at night, there is a popular club on the corner and breakfast place next door. both very popular.
