Hotel is 1/2 mile from Piedmont Park and an easy walk to the midtown Marta stop (take the Marta to/from the airport!). The check in staff was wonderful and they easily made sure that I wouldn't have to change rooms despite booking through 2 different sites (one for each of 2 nights). They offer a specially curated drink for check in. I had lunch at Aerial, by the pool on the roof deck. Nice location and delicious brussels sprouts (the "small plates" aren't that small). I would definitely consider staying here again.

539R, Nothing starts my day on a better note than seeing a 5 Star review (except for seeing our associates). I grew up in Chicagoland so it's good to see a fellow Chicagoan stay with us. I will pass along your gratitude to the front desk and Aerial staffs. We are truly blessed with great curators who truly care about the guest experience. When your travels bring you to the Midtown Atlanta area in the future, we look forward to you visiting again. PS - You've got to come back to try the guac at Aerial. Life altering.

I stayed at this hotel for a 1 day business trip. The hotel is located in Mid-Town so avoid if possible arriving between 4 and 6pm as the traffic is ridiculous. This is my first experience with this hotel and the arrival process is a bit confusing as the front desk looks like the hostess stand of a restaurant and there is also a hostess stand to the restaurant as you walk in. Once I determining the front desk agent from the hostess the experience became very pleasant and professional. The staff does not have name tags, just a cork screw on the lapel, so the desk agent was a female with brunette hair and she did an excellent job. The welcome beer sample was a nice touch, I passed as though and opted for the wine. The room was nicely appointed and very spacious. The treatments in the room are not the typical hotel items either, there is a wet bar area with floating shelves and half bottles of wine, upgraded pour over coffee and curated snacks. The bed linen was crisp yet soft and the terry in the bath was of good weight. My only issue was the toilet tissue was 1-ply and that just did not fit with the rest of the esthetic. There is a nice pool area and a large green space as well. Overall, this is going to be a staple place in Atlanta Mid Town to stay.

The Epicurean Hotel brings a modern culinary themed hotel to Midtown Atlanta. As the pandemic recedes and the weather warms, I think it will really shine with its outdoor dining options and culinary events. The room I stayed in, a suite, was comfortable and well furnished, and could easily allow one to host small pre or post dinner gatherings. There’s a lovely gym with corner windows, and a small pleasant pool on an elevated courtyard. The staff I interacted with were gracious and genuine, and the welcome glass of beer or wine is a nice touch. Overall a very good option when visiting Atlanta, especially if your trip is focused in the Midtown area. Once the culinary theme can really flourish, I think the Epicurean may become a destination in and of itself.

Mindwanderer, Thanks so much for your 4-Star review. After a couple less than stellar reviews, we regrouped. Back and getting closer to staffed after a wave of precaution and Covid protocols, we have our mojo. You are correct that the bizarre weather for Atlanta this fall/winter has literally put a damper on some of our beautiful outdoor spaces. Never fear, we still have two wonderful indoor food & beverage venues in Reverence and The Office Bar. We are poised and ready for our first full year of operating in 2022 and can't wait for the promise it will bring. In the meantime, we hope to see you again on a return trip to Midtown Atlanta.

Check in experience was great. Front desk followed us up to our room when he realized he had given us a room that was not on the same floor as the rest of our party. The rooms are very nice and stocked with wine glasses, cocktail shaker, cork screw, etc. Dean street coffee in room was excellent. Aerial is the casual bar and restaurant on the 9th floor. The pool is next to it with cabanas. Definitely try the guacamole that Aerial serves. We went back every day to have it while deciding where to go for dinner. We spent our last evening in the outdoor seating area just off the restaurant just watching the world go by. We ordered drinks at the bar from the 2 Justins (bartenders extraordinaire!) and took them outside to relax. Later Justin brought wine bottles out to provide us with another glass so we could just sit and relax. The entire hotel staff is helpful and friendly. This would be our first choice for a place to stay in Atlanta

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We take a great deal of pride in exceeding expectations and it appears we "hit the mark" with your visit. Another great compliment about the guacamole...it's definitely a crowd favorite. We look forward to welcoming you back on future visits to Midtown Atlanta. In the meantime, spread the word! So im going to keep this review simple and straight to the point starting with Pros:
cute /clean 8 out of 10.
staff was friendly and accommodating.
housekeeping was awesome and speedy with requests.
location is safe walking distance to a lot of food options / bars & right across the street from whole foods, and urgent care .
beds were pretty comfortable.
check in was smooth and easy and they accommodated an early check in
spacious rooms.
shower is hot .
CONS:
rooms are kinda dark and dim
shower pressure is weak and shower head is one of those old school basic shower heads so water pours out to one spot in a mid size shower
walls are thin you can hear the elevator, doors slamming and noise from room above not horribly but definitely noticeable.
food is very subpar for it to be a culinary based hotel food was not good .
House cabernet was 23 dollars very unexpected.
overall i’d prob book again but not as a first choice .

I recently stayed at The Epicurean hotel in Atlanta during a business conference, and it was truly an awesome experience. Having previously stayed at the Tampa location, I can confidently say that the Atlanta hotel matches the same vibrant vibe. The style is clean with a masculine, winery feel, and its location in Midtown is perfect for exploring on foot. The restaurant serves fantastic food, and the overall customer service exceeds expectations. Highly recommend The Epicurean for a memorable stay in Atlanta!

My husband I stayed one night. He is Titanium Elite so we got upgraded to a suite. We did have to ask for the upgrade tho, which for his level it is usually done automatically. The suite is a separate bedroom and living room space but they are not completely walled off. But it was beautifully decorated, 2 TVs, full bar for purchase in room (small, not mini but small bottles of liquor) and snacks.

No free parking even for Titanium Elite but there is self parking steps away.

The bartender, I think his name was Peter, was great! We sat and talked to him for hours, he’s also a flight attendant. And then 2 gentleman also staying at hotel joined in the conversation. We had more fun doing that than going to Ponce Market.

We used our welcome gift to have breakfast which would have been $20 a person for the buffet. It was fine. All the usual breakfast items.

The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. It's a beautifully designed, new hotel, with attractive rooms featuring floor to ceiling glass, in a central location. The only area of improvement would be the $45/night valet cost.

Sometimes the hip hotels are too brand driven to do what hotels supposed to do: offer a quiet place to sleep. Great bed, no street noise, no funny mechanical sounds, just a little noise from other guests (doors shutting, voices in hall).

I liked that we were able to get a reservation for supper the day of our arrival during valentines day weekend. It was nice not having to get an Uber and trek outside.

This hotel is a hidden gem. I was in town for the College Football Playoff and decided to give this hotel a shot. As a Titanium member I was upgraded to a Jr Suite, which was extremely modern and in perfect condition. The front desk staff was amazing and accommodating. The hotel is in the heart of Midtown and is connected to the Google office space. The restaurants are solid choices as well on property. Great hotel and great experience.
