I was expecting more but that was my own fault for not doing more research on the rooms and grounds.

I thought this was an interior hallway hotel but it’s an exterior walkway motel. It’s kind of cool the way it’s set up like a condo with a pool in the middle. But I prefer interior hotel rooms. It was lashing rain and we had a good long way to walk from our car to get to our suite. The sidewalk to our suite was flooded, too, so our feet were drenched by the time we got back in the room.

We stayed in a suite that was extremely outdated with rips in the couch and chips on the counter. Dated carpeting, paint, drapes etc. But the first thing we noticed was the smell of cigarette smoke, even though we had a non-smoking room. We learned later that our neighbors next door were smoking outside their door, because they, too, were in a non-smoking room. One reason that I don’t like exterior rooms. Their smoke had floated over to our room before and after we got there.

The bedding and the bedside tables were updated, though, which was obvious as it didn’t match all the rest of the suites fixtures. There’s a USB and plug outlet on top of the bedside table which I appreciated.

The space in front of the sink is a fake wood linoleum that I slipped and fell flat on my butt - so beware wearing socks to the toilet!

There is a full kitchen in the suites. Stove. Full frig. Microwave. Coffee maker. Sink. Only a few pots/pans and a spatula. No utensils, cups, etc. so bring your own.

We stayed here for the sole purpose of visiting Piedmont Hospital the next day so for the price, it was an OK place to lay our heads for the night.

The lobby is VERY nice; updated flooring and a comfortable seating area. They had breakfast which we didn’t have time to partake in and there’s bar/restaurant right there in the lobby too. The one staff member I saw was very helpful and friendly.

Shai is a beautiful, courteous and helpful young lady that completed the check- in process for me. I had reserved a suite for one of my employees. The property is under renovations. The renovations in the lobby is complete and it is clean, very warm and welcoming. The laundry room, fitness center, jacuzzi and pool was clean. The suite was not renovated yet, but the price was very Affordable for the Buckhead area. Buckhead luxury hotels can be very expensive, especially if you want a full kitchen suite for a lengthy stay. The Standard suite has a full kitchen, living area with a sofa, TV, desk and separate bedroom and bathroom. The suite was clean and very comfortable for an extended stay. Property was safe and quiet.

After many decades of shopping trips to Atlanta I have decided this hotel is all I need. Many times being ripped off by the Marriott , paying too much to park and eat at the Hyatt and Intercontinental . This hotel is in the heart of Buckhead, safe, clean, quiet , free parking, free breakfast , all suites. I request a room on the backside for more privacy. A hidden gem in an overpriced area..Rooms are all on the outside like codo living.

This is neither a hotel or motel. The doors face outdoors but the parking is only close to a small percentage of the buildings. After I was initially checked into a room that was still dirty, I asked for a ground floor room near the lobby (because that is the location of the only ice machine). I scored the farthest room from the lobby on the 2nd floor. Microwave is broken. Coffee machine is broken. TVs in the living room and bedroom are small. TV remote had a missing battery. I called the front desk about the microwave and coffee machine and of course, I was told nothing could be done about it. Bed is comfortable and the AC works well.

We stayed here just before lock down and had a very acceptable experience. It was a budget price hotel but was enjoyable. I did not check the reviews when I rebooked.

The standard has dropped considerably. The elevator was not working - and I think this has been the case for several months. Hence, due to heavy luggage we had a ground floor room which was rather dark and very gloomy. The card door lock did not work reliably and had about 6 keys before we got a single one to work correctly.

On arrival, Sunday about 5pm, there were people in the car park that did not look like guests. It did not make us feel comfortable. Other reviews mention similar feelings.

On the positive side, most of the staff were very helpful. The room was clean, and everything worked. However, it is a suite with cooker etc, but no plates, knives, forks etc. We did manage a frozen pizza, and ate with our fingers.

Last time we stayed, we had a normal hotel breakfast, eggs, bacon etc plus toast, yogurt etc The current breakfast is extremely basic and very different to last time. It is now described as Grab 'n' go. The website photos shows a cooked breakfast.

The hotel info states courtesy bus. This does not exist. Far worse, my wife requested a taxi from reception that they refused to - just gave her an Uber card. She is a pensioner, and does not have a US phone. Her only option was to walk.

The hotel is smoke free, but the pillows were not totally smoke free.

It is no longer a good hotel and we left after day two of our planned 3 day stay. When I explained it was not as before, nobody diagreed. I am waiting for a refund of the third night.

Looking at recent reviews, many were responded to, mostly with a standard, often identical 'sorry you were not happy' response.

If you think you are getting a luxury experience you should really reconsider booking at this property. They totally misrepresent their vibe with the first set of pictures of a nicely updated unit. I recommend scrolling to the second half of the pictures that you see here because that’s more accurate duplication but even those are good shots. This was way overpriced for what it was, has none of the amenities listed, and it needs a lot of repairs. The lighting at night is very dim and the parking lot has a lot of activity that made me very uncomfortable. I was reluctant to even leave my car there. This was previously the quality inn and I know they are trying to rebrand themselves but I feel like they need to get the property completed before they advertise as they are.

All surfaces dirty. Visible detritus from previous guests on counters. It’s a good thing I brought disposable wipes. Toilet seat falling off. No tub stopper; front desk told me the manager says they don’t supply bathtub stoppers; also told me I would have to come to the desk for additional towels, etc.- no housekeeping. Supposed to be non- smoking but cigarette burns on sofa and counter and cigarette smell in room. Spend your pennies and stay somewhere else. This is a terrible Choice hotel with terrible staff/managerial staff.

I previously stayed at this hotel and found the location to be ideal. However, this time I was very disappointed with my experience. The furniture in my room was damaged and the fixtures were rusty. My friends and I were there for 5 days and the cleaning staff never came to our room. We had to visit the office every day to get fresh towels while the old towels gathered in the bathroom. I complained but the staff was unaffected. To add the insult to injury, the continental breakfast offering has been reduced to a microwave burrito and a granola bar.

Circumstances had us stop in Atlanta. We decided to stay at Quality Suites for convenience, or so we thought. We arrived late night and booked a room. Upon entering the room we were greeted with the stench of cigarettes. We assumed they placed us in a smokers unit and were too tired from travel to seek another room. We check out in the morning and a few weeks go by we were never refunded our incidental charge. Reason being “You were smoking in the unit” my girlfriend and myself both don’t smoke. Feels like a scam.

Out dated facility. We booked four days but only stayed one night. We couldn’t find our room on the third floor . After 20 minutes of searching, we were told we couldn’t reach our room from the elevator level. We walked up the flights of stairs with heavy luggage to find a substandard room. Out dated furniture that looked like 1960/70s, stained floors, and smelly room conditions. Transferred to another room which was not much better. Old and lumpy mattress. Dark room. Very noisy from other rooms. Probably the worst Quality facility that I have visited. Would not recommend to anyone

Regarding Transportation. The best option I found was Uber. The only other transportation was bus and it required transfers..This answer is for traveling from Quality Suites Buckhead to Georgia World Congress center.
