costumer service was great & the room was good, the bed was great. the only reason I gave this motel a 3 and not a 4 was because the soda machine and guest laundry were out of order. I will definitely stay here again. as far as the machines being out of order, for me, was not a big deal because just a few blocks down the road a couple of laundry facilities and a fairly large minute market/ gas station not to mention several Restraunt choices.

My husband had to have surgery @Piedmont Hospital. We wanted a motel close to the hospital as we were not allowed to be with him. This motel is very close and convenient to the hospital. We had some special circumstances and the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room was clean and comfortable. The only reason I did not give it 4 stars is because there was a lot of renovations going on. Other than that, this is a great place to stay.

There are a lot of pretty bad reviews of this place on here, and I'm sure that many of these bad reviews were deserved, however I can say that as of September, 2015, the hotel is being renovated, and I was lucky to get Room 217 which was one of the better rooms.

While there, I could see at least 4 rooms on the bottom floor that were in the process of being painted and remodeled. I assume they are doing these a few rooms at a time so they can stay open.

Its worth noting that even after they finish, this will probably always be a cheap hotel, and thats not a bad thing. If this hotel could deliver an experience I had, then its definitely worth consideration if you need a basic hotel at a price much lower than others in Midtown.

When I arrived in Atlanta, I called the hotel and asked for an early check-in. They told me that the earliest check-in is usually 1pm, but they would try to get me in my room as fast as they could. At 12:30, the room was ready. Not super early, but I appreciated the effort.

My room was clean and there was no mold anywhere in the bathroom. The bathroom was stocked with the usual assortment of bath towels, hand towels, and wash rags. There was soap, shampoo, and in the room a coffee machine.

The bed was definitely not new, but it was soft and the sheets were clean. I've slept on MUCH worse mattresses in more expensive hotels elsewhere.

My room had a tube TV (which I did not use), a microwave, and a fridge. Once again, these can sometimes be extras in other hotels, but mine had them at no extra charge.

The lobby does not have a business center, but when I asked to print out my airline boarding pass, the gentleman behind the counter did it for me without any hesitation. They also offer free wi-fi which I had no problem accessing with my tablet and phone.

The elevator was out of order, and the outdoor carpet leading to most of the rooms was threadbare, but thats OK. Again, its a cheap hotel and these are things that can be easily fixed.

I'm giving this hotel a 4/5 rating simply because everything I needed was accommodated, I was comfortable in my room, and don't have any real complaints other than nitpicks. While this will never be a true 5-star hotel, it doesn't have to be. If you are in need for inexpensive lodging in Midtown Atlanta, give this place another considering. You might want to ask for room 217! :)

DO NOT STAY HERE. The man at the front desk stole my information and used it to contact me A WEEK AFTER I LEFT THE HOTEL. do not stay here if you are a single woman, or check in alone if you are a woman. It has been almost 2 weeks since i complained and still nothing from management. They obviously do not take problems there seriously.

Let me start off by saying we did have hot water and good water pressure. But the room not so good it had odor, peeling and stained wallpaper, ceiling showed signs of water damage and peeling paint, towels were hard and old, ants in the bath room. And I woke up with appears to be BED BUGS bites. Great location for downtown area but I got more than I expected.

America's Best Inn? This has to be America's worst inn or at least Atlanta's worst...

My girlfriend and I came from Portland, OR to visit family in Atlanta. The only reason we stayed at this motel was because we booked it on Hotwire. After experiencing this place I am convinced the only reason this place is still in business is because of Hotwire. We definitely don't recommend anyone stay in this motel.

The carpet was gross and stained. The bedding was stained. Our room's floor and ceiling was stained as if it had recently suffered damage from flooding even though our room was on the second floor. We booked a non-smoking room but the bathroom reeked of cigarettes when we turned ON the fan. It was weird... The toilet continually got clogged even if we were only going pee. Luckily there was a plunger already in the room, though. There were no extra outlets for anything anywhere except one open outlet in the bathroom, and one after I unplugged the clock on the nightstand. There was a mini-fridge and microwave that we didn't use because they were both smelly and dirty. They were at least nice enough to leave a Monster energy drink in the fridge. It had probably been in there for months, though, because the can was soft (wasn't hard from the carbonation because it was partially opened or something).

We unfortunately booked two nights at this place. I wasn't expecting a maid to tidy up the place after our first night but someone actually did, so that was nice.

Anyways, I wasn't expecting an awesome experience at the place going in, but I was expecting a clean room that wasn't disgusting and one that I wasn't afraid to sleep in at night. I kept waking up to sounds of yelling and riffraff outside in the middle of the night. Lots of car door and trunk slamming for some reason. There were also people walking around the motel that didn't look like they were staying here.

So yea, I definitely don't recommend anyone staying in this place until they at least update and clean up the place first.

I'm very impressed with my choice of value hotels for Atlanta Pride weekend. I chose America's Best Value Inn in Midtown. Free parking, great rate on booking.com, clean and in remodeling process. My room is clean, comfortable king bed, hot shower, and in good shape for being in mid-remodel. Three nights with tax included for $304.00 and FREE PARKING. I give this hotel a great rating and the staff is very friendly and even checked on me after I settled into my very clean and comfortable room. GREAT choice and I would definitely book here again.

This is the suggested parking area for Amtrak. I explored some other parking areas further away that were cheaper but could not determine whether they were 24/7 and there was no one on site to monitor.

The staff at the desk was friendly and professional. I was able to park in direct view of the front desk. The process was quick and easy. Amtrak is a short walk over the bridge and across the street.

This place is filthy. There were sketchy people lingering outside. I didn't feel safe. I ended up having to leave and didn't stay the hotel at all. I have been trying to get a refund since May 20th. Each time I call they say they need a manager to approve the refund and the manager isn't there. They say a manager will return the call which of course never happens.

I parked there in February. Prepaid and left my keys. Desk staff was courteous. I had attempted to locate other locations to park but was unable to confirm 24hr long term and nearby lots.
