Really great stay. Food was fabulous, view excellent, rooms were so nice we took photos to steal some of the ideas! Manuel and Pat were lovely hosts that did everything they could to make you feel welcome and the feel really was like staying in the home of friends. Best part were Bonnie, Clyde and Kris (the resident cats and...

We had a stunning room with an incredible view of the hills. It was like staying somewhere out of a magazine. We had the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 4 nights and ate at the hotel for 2. The food was fantastic - very tasty and everything freshly cooked. The...

I can only endorse what has already been said by many other travellers. Genuine hosts in delightful surroundings make your stay memorable - the views, food, rooms are exceptionally good. Yes, not the easiest hotel to find but well worth following the excellent hotel directions. We will return at some time in the future. Exceptional value for money.

Ok, don't expect 5 star amenities such as Wifi, mini bar, turndown etc. But do expect a stunning location with views you won't forget, genuine staff who are extremely helpful and if you like dogs a beautiful in house Retriever called Christina. It's not far to drive to get to Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada so strongly consider this hotel...

A stay at the Almunia del Valle is priceless. It is more than your money worth. The road leading to the hotel may be a challenging experience for some but once your reach the hotel you have the most fantastic views. The hotel has a 3 star classification but a 5 or 6 star classification could also have been appropriate....

This was a beautiful hotel, with stunning views from our room & even more stunning from the breakfast table on the terrace! Maria was very helpful. You need transport or we used taxis, which were around 20 euros to Granada. We didn't have time to do any walking, but would love to return!

Two travelling ladies stayed at La Almunia del Valle after visiting Granada and the rush and bustle, and hordes of people, at Alhambra Palace. What a relief and a perfect antidote to city life. The new rooms we were given, for single occupancy, were so comfortable, with perfect bedding, and a sunken bath one could lie in and look at...

This place is the real deal! The full package! And most equally important, worth the challenge of getting here (you WILL need a car and the ability to navigate tight mountain roads). The owners and staff diligently attend to every detail in order to make the stay comfortable and memorable for all the reasons described throughout the many 5-star reviews...

There is no words to describe how wonderful Patricia and Manuel are. From the moment you set foot in their hotel, they make sure to accommodate you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel is very well appointed, we travelled with young kids and they had plenty to entertain them. Patricia is a wonderful cook and the...
