Booked to stay here for 3 nights in a one bed apartment after finding on trip advisor. What an amazing, unique place, we have never stayed in anything like this before but it was a great experience. The apartment is set in the caves and has a great feel about it as soon as you walk in. It had a...

Advantages: It was really fantastic experience to live in real cave. It's spacious property Lupe was so kind and helpful Disadvantages: Although it is safe place, but having security at the gate will give better safe feeling . The water heater is not enough for such property size and 4 people . No supermarket around

This was probably one of the most delightful hotel experiences that we have ever had! We decided to try a cave hotel for something different. It was different. Delightfully different. We had a two bedroom apartment, which was beautifully even down to the wifi. It was exceedingly well run by the charming hosts Manuel and Dulce. They had thought about...

We booked Cuevas Almagruz because we were fascinated by the description and the thought of staying in a cave. We were not disappointed with the accommodation. Through the front door and the whole place was built into the cliff. Completely self contained - separate kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom. It was a very hot weekend but the inside of our...

I was nervous about this place but should not have been. I felt at home within 30 minutes. It is slightly remote so need a car but Manuel and his wife and 'Lupi' (she's heard all the jokes) are brilliant. I sent a request ahead that I was arriving late and with 3 boys in toe, could they help with...

It's one of the most particular place I ever seen, you are literally sleeping in a cave inside the mountain, very quite and relaxing, nice area, it seems a little Grand Canyon. It's run by a family, they are all very kind, available and nice.we definitely loved it, recommended!

It is a little hard to find - your best bet is to pay close attention to the kilometer marks on the A92 exits - they are at the exit at km 286. Once you get there you are in for a treat - the caves are spacious and beautiful - I initially thought our room was the reception area....

Cuevas Almagruz is a very special place with a wonderful scenery. The apartment is big and located inside the gave. It contains a romantic fireplace. The owner is very enthusiastic and took us to a fantastic view, made sure we had a good meal on Christmas day and brought us fresh bread in the morning. You can visit the Sierra...

This hotel is a unique experience! The evening manager, Lupe, was wonderful and gave us a private tour of the caves and their museum! Her English was very good and she gave us much useful information about the area and culture. It was upper 90's F and the "caves" are a continuous mid 70's F. Very comfortable and charming!! The wife went out of her way to book something different for an overnight stay whilst driving from Alicante to Malaga. From the outside the place looks cosy, with a magnificent pool, and inside it was just enchanting. Two big bedrooms in our suite, a double and two twins, plus a fully functional bathroom, great kitchen and a sunken lounge...
