The park is wonderful, so worth putting up with the room. Of the four National Park lodges we stayed in this was the only one to let us down. We booked two Deluxe Kiva rooms. Only one (room 111) was known of at reception when we arrived. The rooms were a good size and had amazing distant views over a...

For me, the name Far View Lodge describes the experience perfectly. It is an evocative, mystical place with views of the Mesa and beyond to the mountains with nothing to impede your vista. Our rooms were clean and nicely maintained. Although the exterior was a bit worn, and the grandchildren would have liked to have a television, this was a...

The room we were given, number 132, has numerous problems: Even though it is advertised as a view room, there is hardly a view from inside the room as the window seal is broken causing the inside of the window to be fogged over. Since it was too cold to sit outside, we never had a view unless you consider...

I am so sorry about your difficulties during your stay. This, of course, is not the experience we want our guests to have. I will be contacting you shortly to address your concerns. Thank you for taking the time to bring these problems to my attention.

Stayed in lodge for the night after touring Mesa Verde. The room was small and bathroom was even smaller. This was the Deluxe King Kiva room that we paid more for. Also the claimed views from this complex of rooms was not as spectacular as the other lower complex. Our room was in the100-120. We were on the first floor...

The lodge was very comfortable and well worth considering for its location. While there are lots of less expensive places in the neighboring towns, its wise to consider driving times to and from the park if you plan on visiting for a few days. Being right in the park saves a lot of time as you explore. Plus the food...

We just arrived at this great motel. Clean room, giant, comfy king bed, with an awesome view of the valley. The downside: there is a common door between rooms. True for this room (133) and our friend's room (138). I can hear every word being spoken by the neighbors, and they are Not being loud. There must be some way...

We stayed here for a single night while on a road trip through New Mexico up to Denver, CO and it was NOT long enough. We plan to come back for sure and explore the park to its fullest. Far View Lodge is a small but cute accommodation in the heart of Mesa Verde National Park. The room was a...

We stayed with our dog at this location for a couple of nights while we explored the park. The lodge has amazing views and we loved our room. It had a balcony, so we would sit on the balcony in the evening with the front door and balcony door open and let the refreshing breeze blow through. Stargazing at night...

We stayed at Far View Lodge for 2 nights. Staff was friendly and helpful at check-in. Our Kiva Deluxe View Room on the second floor had a king bed, wardrobe, refrigerator, and private balcony. The best part was a great view of the nighttime skies, including the Milky Way, from our balcony. My husband, a former astronomy professor, saw constellations...

The hotel is conveniently located on the top of a hill so that from the room you can appreciate a really far view. The room itself was big enough for 2 persons and clean although it seemed a little bit old-style but well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. A nice place if you plan an overnight stay...
