We stayed here for two nights while sight seeing in Concord and Lexington and it was the perfect home base. After reading bad reviews about the addition I called and specifically requested a room in the 1716 portion of the house and was not disappointed. Our room was huge and had everything we needed including a lovely view. We ate...

The cottages that are available are very nice and comfortable. The one my family stayed in was the top floor cottage, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The forge restaurant in the inn was fun and the food was great. The Colonial Inn beer was amazing too. We didn't have time for their other restaurant, but we will definitely come back...

On our way back to Boston, we stopped at Concord located 19 miles away and were so glad we did. Concord is a pretty town rich in U.S. history. This is where “the shot heard round the world” was fired that started the U.S. Revolutionary War at the Battle of Lexington and Concord. We suggest you park near the historic...

Fairly recent renovations made the rooms more comfortable. The staff is still pleasant and welcoming. The lemon water in the lobby is a nice touch. Rates were fairly reasonable given the location and a somewhat last-minute overnight reservation. There is free off-street parking. Pros: Central Concord location, updated room, great acoustic live set in the tiny hotel bar after 9pm...

When a friend came up from Savannah GA to visit, we decided to tour the historic town of Concord that gave birth to both the American Revolution and Transcendentalism. It was also the height of the fall foliage season in New England. A local recommended The Colonial Inn for lunch and it could not have been more delightful. Parking was...

The Colonial Inn Restaurant is located next to the North Bridge Inn so we thought we'd give it a try. Cute interior. But this was not our best meal. I ordered fish and chips, my absolute favorite. My traveling friend ordered the chicken pot pie, her favorite. I have to say that the fish was good but the cole slaw...

Cozy, great staff, historic, and 3 ghosts...who could ask for more!! The parking could be bigger but we found parking every time (waited no more than 15 minutes). The breakfast was good, a little pricey, but the staff make it worth. Beautiful and in the right spot. Hot coffee in the mornings and hot apple cider at night!

This inn was beautiful. I stayed there one night with a friend, we got to stay in the original house which was built in 1716. The room was absolutely gorgeous and had a lovely view of the park/round-about area, tons of green space. It's within easy walking distance to all the downtown shops. It's a short drive from the Sleepy...

This inn is GREAT for the history buff, especially if you value history over opulence. While charming, this hotel is not what I would call extremely comfortable. Don't get me wrong, it's not UNCOMFORTABLE, but if you're expecting top notch luxury, the rooms won't deliver. That being said, the rooms are comfortable enough, spacious, and interesting. We stayed in the...

Our time at this lovely restaurant turned into a memorable time...we were visiting with our son, the service was very nice, the food was delicious, and we were not rushed at all, and the ambience was delightful and charming. The Clam Chowder was the best ever!! We ordered their cider donut dessert medley....oh my!
