We stayed in mid October right at the end of the season and there were very few guests there, so it was all bit bleak and the heating wasn't amazing. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk along a country lane into Peratallada with only one main road to cross. The proprietor and staff were very helpful and the breakfast...

We booked through booking.com for our wedding band to stay here. When they arrived they were told they did not have a booking - even though our band had the confirmation in their hand. The staff proceeded to be extremely rude and unhelpful - stating the owner was at the shops, they then said they did have a room, but...

Stayed here for 3 nights, the room was comfortable and the breakfast served on the terrace was nice. There are two pools here and both very welcoming in the hot weather. It is a 10 minute walk to Peratallada along a farm track so very safe. We hired bikes from ciclesjk based in Palafrgell and they delivered the bikes to...

We stopped here for two nights as part of a cycling holiday. The place seems empty (particularly of staff!) most of the time, but that adds to its charm. This feels like motel, but it's more than that - it's comfortable rooms are air conditioned and peaceful. The pool is great and the gardens well laid out. It's a 10...

We stayed at Hotel Aatu at the end of July for two nights. It's just outside the lovely medieval old town of Peratallada just a 5 min walk into the town. It is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. It has a maze of narrow streets and sunny squares, filled with amazing cafes and restaurants, we counted 16....

We stayed at the Hotel Aatu for 2 nights as part of a walking/cycling holiday. It is a lovely hotel, the accommodation far exceeds the 2 star rating. The manager, Pere is the perfect host full of local information and provides a wonderful breakfast. The beautiful gardens with 2 swimming pools provide the perfect retreat after a days walking or...

Attitude is so important in creating first impressions. Pedro, a journalist in his other life, was a breath of fresh air when we arrived after a tough days' cycle. On our second night he helped all of us get to a restaurant a few kilometers away. hooray for Pedro! The hotel is pleasant, great breakfast, good rooms, away from the...

Great location to get away from the craziness of Barcelona. Old, yet amazing town across the street. Located in the middle of a medieval time area. Did a bicycle tour and I couldn't ask for a better way to see this amazing countryside. If you can't bike, rent a car. It really is amazing. Nice pool, nice rooms.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was on the first floor so no terrace to sit out on. This did not matter as it was not sitting out weather while we were there. The room was spacious and well furnished, the large bathroom less so as both the bath and wash basin lacked plugs. This was a nuisance...

We were here for a couple of nights while on a cycling holiday..It is off the beaten track. in fact you have to walk half a mile along the beaten track to the village of Peratallada where we had our evening meals. This makes an excellent stroll and is good for the digestion after overdoing the food and wine!! The...
