The room we stayed in was clean and had a large modern bathroom with a great shower.. The owner was very informative. The room was very reasonably priced and has restaurants within walking distance of the motel.

Truly a trip back to the 50's. Clean, comfortable and pleasant. Ours had a refrigerator and a microwave, large bathroom and very large king size bed that was firm, just right for my back. Very quiet place to stay. Lots of neat neon signs, old cars mainly rusted out. One 1940's Cadillac as well as a 40's LaSalle, pretty rare... More

A very charming and quaint motor court. I stayed one night on my drive out to southern California and I liked it so much that I stayed again on my return trip heading east. This is the motel with all the old cars on display (loved the old Nash Metropolitan tucked away in one of the old guest garages), not... More

This hotel was clean, and fun to stay at, due to the overall throwback look to it, including old antique automobiles parked permanently outside. It's nearly 100 years old, according to the current owners, who have operated it for the last 36 years! They are trying to keep it open, while all old things around them, such as a drive-in... More

This is an iconic Route 66 ma & pa type motel located right along our Mother Road. You will not find a nicer host along the California route. The motel itself is a huge phtoographic opportunity. Food is within easy driving distance.

Staff was very friendly and helpful Has great stories about folk who visit regularly. Environment kitschy. Love the old cars. Very clean, comfy in a 1950s way. It would be nice to have access to coffee either in the room or a common area. But there is a great donut and coffee shop down the street. Another throw-back to the... More

Stayed here for one night on last leg of Route 66. The forecourt has a lot of classic cars and Route 66 memorabilia. The rooms are clean and tidy, good value for money. Round beds are available too, if you like that sort of thing.

Stopped here for one night on the way to Vegas. It's a no frills place but was clean and tidy with friendly owners. Barstow is a bit of a ghost town but a must if you're doing the old route 66 and this motel and it's interesting courtyard full of beat up old cars and artifacts didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere... More

We stopped off at the Route 66 Motel during a road trip down to L.A from Vegas. Treated to a massive round bed - there's a first time for everything! The room was clean - Air con not the best but it was extremely hot outside (120) so will forgive on this occasion! Spent around an hour taking photos outside... More
