Our last minute reservation meant a split stay in Frederick, one night here, the next night "next door" at 10 Clarke. We appreciated both B&B's flexibility (they moved our luggage over for us during the day) and convenient location. The two are a very different style from the other. We enjoyed the spaciousness and comfort of this room. Betty and...

Their breakfasts were wonderful and delicious! Lot of varies - hot and cold - breakfast frittata, casseroles, parfaits, waffles, fruits, and so on......

We had a lovely night's stay at Hollerstown Hill! The owners were out of town, Monique from 10 Clarke served as our host. The house was lovely and welcoming. Yes, the decor is heavy on dolls and nick-nacks, but I think that's part of it's charm. We stayed in the Queen Anne Room, which was very spacious and comfortable. It...

We stayed here a couple weeks ago before taking my car to a show at Rose Hill Manor, and really enjoyed it. Perfect location near the downtown, but not right in the middle of it, and no hassle for parking! The owner, Betty, even let me park in the rear to keep it off the street. We had an upstairs...

Monique was great - room a lil warm and small - but she fit us in. Incredible - if not crowded - stuff. Breakfast was incredible too. We really enjoyed it. She could put us up on Thurs night but not Fri. So she called her "sister" which was a sister B&B two doors down and they made the swap...

Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved the location. We stayed in the collage garden room. This isn't as upscale as some of the BnBs we've stayed in but still perfectly fine. Pros: -Great location. Under two blocks from all the action of downtown but on a quiet street. Ideal. -friendly, chatty owners -comfortable bed -balcony off our room. -good...

A birthday getaway for me and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived(early and that was not a problem) we felt at home. Phil and Betty could not have been more accommodating, providing tips on what to do, where to go, places to eat, etc...they were a wealth of information. Our room was...

My husband and I really enjoyed this b & b, where we stayed one night for a quick getaway. We stayed in the room with the balcony overlooking the back--really a nice place to sit and unwind. Betty and Phil were gracious hosts. I had reserved a table at Ayse Meze, which Betty said was very good. She recommended we...

We only had one night in Frederick, but our stay was very pleasant. Our hosts Betty and Phil were very accommodating and breakfast was excellent. The room and bed were comfortable. We will return to Hollertown Hill when we are in Frederick again.

We were only here for a one night getaway, and spent most of our time touring the town and eating out. The room was really nice and the innkeeper was very gracious. Breakfast was good. The inn is located in the historic downtown area, so its a very convenient walk to most everything. We would definitely come back.
