For a one star hotel we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, the room clean and the hotel is in an old convent which gives it that extra edge! We loved the street that it was on although our gps told us to drive practically to the front door. Most of the area is pedestrian which makes it charming...

I'm running out of superlatives....suffice it to say that the Hostal Loreto exceeds all expectations - on every level. And the fact that the owner took the trouble to check up that my 2.a.m. taxi was under control....personally...floored me. Thank you so much, I cannot wait to return to this corner of Paradise!

Don't let the name fool you. This is a fine boutique hotel tucked into an old convent. It's perfectly located to the port, to the castle ruins and to many old-town tapas bars. Rooms have everything you need, though the bed was on the hard side. Parking is convenient, which is a real benefit because Carrer de Loreto is a...

Well first the difficult bit. Sort out your car parking before arriving. Denia is pedestrianised all over the place and the car parks are clearly signed if you find them first - otherwise you are on your own sunbeam. The hostal do have car space but that's also not easy to find. However the hostal is very nice , has...

Right in the center of Denia, located in pedestrian street. A good chioce of restaurants and bars at your doorstep. 15 minutes walk to excellent sandy beaches. Very friendly atmosphere, good, clean rooms. Parking your car is difficult in the city centre, but possible at the oposite side of the Castle (10-15 minutes walk to the hostal).

At the side of the hostel they have a restaurant that serves the most wonderful food, lovely helpful staff, great environment to eat in and so reasonable. 15 euros gives you a 3 course meal which is al a carte standard. The actual street that loreto is situated on is very buzzy and interesting, I visit every time I am...

This has become one of my favourite places to stay in Spain. Both the hostel and the surrounding area are perfect for a mini break. Restful, friendly, clean and affordable, I can't find anything bad to say about it. The owners were very helpful permitting an early check in and provided advice on local attractions, night life and restaurants. Got...

My wife and I visited Denia for the Medieval Market weekend, our friends had stayed at the hostal on several previous occasions and gave it a glowing report. We stayed only the one night, Saturday and it will not be our only stay at this lovely hostal. The location is superb, right in amongst the action and the atmosphere but...
