We were in Javea to celebrate our wedding anniversary with friends who booked the Casa Bella Vista for an overnight stay. Be warned....the car journey up the mountain to the house is quite a white knuckle ride but boy is it worth it! Not only are the views spectacular but the lovely French hostess who is in charge of everything makes it a truly personal and unique experience to stay there. Drinks can be purchased there although there’s no bar...it’s not your regular hotel experience....it’s more like staying in a beautiful private house. The en-suite rooms were beautifully decorated, very spacious and with private terraces overlooking Javea. The pool area was lovely and everything throughout the whole place was spotlessly clean. We took a taxi out for the night and breakfast, which was included in the price, was served at whatever time we choose. So.....needless to say, the breakfast experience was as breathtaking as everything else. Top notch coffee, hot milk, freshly squeezed chilled orange juice. Two individual fruit bowls per person, one with cubed water melon and the other with fresh (big) blueberries, yellow kiwi and pineapple. Crepes, toast, croissants, home made preserves, honey. Cooked eggs if you would like them. Then the lovely hostess brought out delicate plates of two cheeses, with almonds and fabulous jamon Iberico. Better than a lot of five star hotels. Throughout our visit out hostess was gracious and charming and we managed with our ropey French and her limited English! Amazing, what a find!

Really nice place, with a great gentil French hostess. The place is a bit far out from the centre of Javea (need a car) but the b&b and the views from the terrace and your room are magnificent, so definitely GO there!!!

We loved our stay here - the view is just amazing and we really enjoyed resting by the pool or sitting on our little balcony and just soaking it in. The room was great - very nicely decorated. The owner/hostess, Yveline, was lovely and served up a delicious breakfast every morning. There is an open area on the lower floor with a fridge and eating area where we could store our drinks and fruit. We can't wait to go back!

A beautiful experience for our family. We were treated really well by the owner and we had fabulous adjoining bedrooms (family room) they had thought of everything that we may need during our stay and the room was like a home from home. Continental Breakfast on the terrace was stunning and the owner and her daughter couldn’t do enough to ensure we were happy. We were offered to use the hot tub and the views from the pool are just amazing. You need a car to get up the hill and it’s very steep but that’s why the views are so good. On our day of departure at 6:45am the owner made us breakfast and packaged up some cake for our children for the journey. The house is fabulous and has so many interesting painting and things to look at. It’s extremely quiet yet we didn’t haven’t to tip toe around. If your after a room with a view and a totally different experience to the commercialised type hotels this is the one for you. It’s like being a guest in someone’s home. Quaint yet you know there is a story to be told. We really enjoyed it. If your after peace and quiet it’s ideal
