After a 2 days surprise getaway with my wife, we liked the facility. This place will be in our list for quick vacations not so far from Istanbul. We will definitely bring our 2.5 year old next time.
Rooms are big. Not so modern...More
Although the resort offers many activities related with spa, the rooms could have been cleaner. I loved the salt room, crystal room and the other themed spa rooms. Also the saunas were great. I had a chance to get a massage and it was great....More
Third time here. Probably will come again. Like the location. Has a great spa. Simple and tasteful. No exaggeration. Great for kids. Has a nice walking route around the hotel. Quite busy during school holidays
I have stayed numerous times at the Gazelle right from it first opening. The hotel is clean, well kept and has most facilities you would need. Staff are friendly but being a hotel more geared at national guests not many speak good English, but you...More
We stayed here 1 night for my husband's business travel with our 2,5 years old daughter. The whole experience was "eh". The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is in the forest and there are animals you can visit. Therefore your child...More

Don't take a bus, it's just so much easier to have the hotel transportation. There are alternative VIP transit Services also provided by rental companies such as Sixt , Millennium, or Enterprise ( not sure which ones do it). But honestly 650 TL is about $220, and is as such is an OK rate, because your hotel is very far From Istanbul ( keep in mind that Turkey has one of the most expensive rates for fuel at the pump: nearly 1,5 dollars a liter, which is almost over 4 dollars per gallon). Even other companies might price you slightly over 500₺ so it wouldn't be a difference of more than $50.
On the other hand, I would also like to draw your attention about this hotel. It's NOT a luxury hotel. it's a nice hotel between a 4 and 5 star. Its spa and pools are very nice, the food is decent (halal) and the walking tracks on the woods located in the property are nice. Also you see many deers and rabbits and many animals which kids love. The food is also rather good. But it's not the same quality as the top 2 hotels in Sapanca ( Gural Sapanca and Richmond ) and nowhere near Antalya hotels or top hotels in Istanbul. But kids would probably like it very much.
So if in-room luxury is secondary and you want to enjoy outdoors, the spa and the food then it's fine.
Also the management is not as professional, I ended up paying more to this hotel that if I had gone to Antalya. Make sure you fix your rate and the currency in writing and careful with extras as well as the exchange rate!
Also very important, if you are traveling from Doha, then you might want to take the direct flight to ANKARA, and drive about 2,5 hours to Bolu from that way. Ankara has a lot less traffic and a quieter airport, and Qatar Airways should have direct flights to ANKARA.
Enjoy your holidays!
