Lovely location. A friendly bed and breakfast. Room was spacious clean and comfortable with bottled water, good hot drink selection. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful with good choices. Very good value for money. Friendly welcome from the owner and the parrot!

This is a farmhouse on a working farm. It was very clean but the decor dated. In my room I had one of the smallest mugs ever, and small bath towel too. Excellent breakfast. A very disturbed night though - from their parrot's squawking, to...More
We stayed here for two nights in August 2016 while visiting relatives in Portscatho. Located about a mile from Porscatho we were able to walk down to the village in about 25-30 minutes via the coast path. It was about 10-15 minutes down the lane...More
Our bedroom (room 3) is large, very clean, light and airy and the quality bed is exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with snow-white fluffy towels and a robe. Breakfast is incredible with a wide choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurt etc. and most items for...More

Hi Shelley, my apologies for the delay in responding to your question. The Driftwood Hotel is highly recommended for a special dinner and is a 10 minute walk away. The Hotel Tresanton at St Mawes do a lovely lunch and you are able to sit out on the terrace. From St Mawes you are able to go across to Falmouth on the passenger ferry or on the Enterprise a boat ride right up to the City of Truro. There are many gardens close by or just a walk on one of the sandy beaches with a must visit to the Hidden Hut at Porthcurnick Beach again just a 10 minute walk. Thanks Wendy
