A really beautiful place with exceptional service and hospitality from all of the staff. Our room was beautiful and breakfast great. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Perfect place in the heart of the Cotswolds, for walking, exploring and visiting all of the local towns and villages. Would really recommend staying or at least having a meal or a friendly...

We just called in on spec. But probably the best meal we've had all week. Nice place, good food and good price for the area. Will definitely go again when next in the area. Looked to be a popular place for those in the know😉

Lovely place, enjoyed our stay, service was excellent, staff friendly, only 2 negative comments really - the new manager came over and started to chat but then shows little or no interest in your answer.. makes it feel like hes just doing the rounds! and secondly the very old wooden four poster bed is unfortunately not very comfortable and being...

The new owners are very friendly, and made us feel welcome. The staff are helpful and polite. My room was clean, and tastefully furnished. I had the english breakfast and the sea food paella - both were very good. It's a very pretty village and served as a great base to explore the area. Worth a visit if you like...

We have eaten here several times with friends in recent years and never been disappointed. This time it was just the two of us and midweek so The Lamb was nice and quiet. It is a cosy country pub of Cotswold stone, tucked down a lane, with a pleasant outdoor area. We have always found the food good and this was...

The Lamb Inn on the whole was good. Food was great, especially if someone wanted something that wasn't on the menu, they did there best to provide it. The staff were very helpful and efficient. Our only complaint was that the owner and his wife liked to entertain the locals (loudly)...leaving the staff to cope.. Would expect the owner to...

My wife & I, whilst on holiday all over Europe for 6 weeks, realised we had a few days to ourselves and had never visited The Cotswolds as adults. A quick search on Tripadvisor found this locale so we booked it. Our surprise was unbelievable!! It is located in a "speck on the map" but handy for the area. our...

it was so good the first time, we had to go back the last night we were in England. The first time I had the Steak and Ale pie. It was delicious. Hot, tasty with a sinfully rich flavor. If you follow any of my reviews, you might remember that I am a Pescaterian. I eat fish but no other...

We stayed for a few days in a wonderful B&B in the neighbouring village of Milton-under-Wychwood and our host, Ken, strongly recommended The Lamb Inn, just six minutes down the road. This was apparently the locals "pub do choice". For great meals, a quiet drink or three and perfect company after a full day exploring the Cotswalds region, Ken's advice...

...to go back to The Lamb? For We are but Fools. It is not just "good for a pub or restaurant" but properly good. On a Friday night, the risotto and burger were flawless, apparently prepared by the owner's brother. Immediate pay rise for that man. Relaxed garden, with another dog named Ben to amuse ours. Go there now.
