The only upside to the place was it was close to Mt. Rainer National Park. The sink had a sign that said the water had minerals to help cleansing. So I was dehydrated that night. In one of the cabins the upstairs had a open shower that had beds in the room.👎

Perfect location - just half mile to the entrance of Mt Rainier Park. Great walking area just up the street - turn into Nisqually Park homes and walk to the dead end where you will find a lovely and long path along the levy. Strong cabin structure. But the interior has frayed carpets, mattresses that must have come from a...

Was really worried at first after reading a lot of negative reviews, but it was made clear to me that they were very outdated and irrelevant to the lodge's current state. I learned that the ownership of the lodge changed within the past year and they have worked hard to bring the establishment back up to an acceptable standard. It's...

While the place was clean, the condition left a lot to be desired. We were in the Cedar Cabin. In 90+ degree weather there were no screens on windows, so they couldn't be opened to get any air in the rooms. No fans to circulate air. The heat was oppressive. Only one burner on the stove worked. One worked, kind...

We took our grandaughter here. It was nice and quiet. There was some snow on the ground and there was a fun sledding hill where there was loads of snow discs and such for sliding. Our dog enjoyed himself too. Great location to the Skate Creek Road which has tons of hiking and picnicing. We stayed in the Cedar Cabin...

Cheap means run down, filthy and poorly equipped. Do not on any account stay here. Wi - fi does not work and no-one around to answer any questions. The worst place we have ever stayed in in the entire USA.

My husband and I spent 3 nights in Cedar Cabin while visiting Mt. Rainier. It is very close to the park in a pretty wooded setting. The cabin is cute from the outside and there is a porch with one plastic chair to sit in. The interior needs new beds, couch and chairs, all were worn out and so uncomfortable...

We stayed here for one night in September and booked the green hill cabin. Never again, it smelled bad and the bathroom was ugly. The cabin was cold and the heater didn't work, it was more ancient than usable and loud.

“Maybe try one of the other cabins which have much better reviews and steer clear of the Cedar Cabin.”

“If renting the family cabin: if you are going to make a fire in the fireplace, MAKE SURE the vent is all the way open. We did not open it all the way and it filled the place with smoke the first try. So make sure you really shove it all the way open. No matter what cabin you rent: if in the winter months, make sure you request that the heat be turned on 1 hour prior to your arrival time so the cabin is all warm for you when you get there. It takes a while to heat up :) We recommend keepin the kids room of the family cabin closed with a blanket shoved against the bottom of the door because a cold draft flows into the livingroom through it, and that will keep that cool air out.”
