What a nice surprise after horrible experience in Quinault lake lodge. This cozy charming B&B was very well organized. The house dates back to 1910 but is very well maintained and has charming old decor. The check in was contactless but very easy with multiple emails and instructions. The room was large and comfortable with everything in need available. Family room had beautiful library with many travel books, comfortable couches and TV. Breakfast was preset in the kitchen with multiple choices. The outside grounds had old trees and a nice picnic area. We highly recommend this little gem to Mt. Rainier National Park travellers.
Located off the main road in a beatuiful park-like setting, just six miles outside the Nisqually Entrance to Mount Rainier. Close to dining options. We had a wonderful stay and appreciated the cleanliness of our suite and the attention to detail both in our living space and throughout the property. It is evident that the family who owns Mountain Meadows truly wants you to enjoy your stay and is readily available if you need anything. So many nice touches, including a welcome board, breakfast, a smores maker, a hammock and hottub on the grounds, the list goes on. We only wish we had been able to stay longer. Thank you Mountain Meadows for giving us a warm, welcoming place to stay after some beautiful hikes in Mount Rainier!
This was a beautiful suite (two bedrooms, one bath with kitchenette). Looked like it had been recently redecorated and was very clean and reasonably priced (especially for the area!). Close to the park and places to eat. Only downside was the second night we had upstairs neighbors who were a little noisy, otherwise it was a great place to stay.
Looks like it was built in the 70’s and never updated. Appeared to have black mold on shower walls. Bed was comfortable, sheets nice, but such a funky place. Very dark. Trees and bushes overgrown. No public or outdoor space to use. It felt a bit claustrophobic. I cannot recommend.
I was just going through some photos of our trip to the North West area and forgot to leave a comment, so here goes. We stayed here for a few days in Aug of 2018 with another lifelong couple. Certainly glad we picked Mountain Meadows over any of the hotels in area! If you want the Carlton Ritz glitz, there is a time and place, but not in the beautiful mountains. We stayed in the Chalet Suites, rustic, charming, so quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the breakfast items delivered daily, plenty of coffee and did I mention it was peaceful. The owners are so friendly. Had everything we needed and more. Easy access to Mt. Rainier and all the area has to offer. Book here if you want an amazing place to stay
