Was clean, very reasonably priced especially with breakfast (limited) included. The people at the front desk were helpful. Very close to Mt. Rushmore. Beautiful country, with deer everywhere. I would stay there again & also recommend.

Located in a great location for walking to eating establishments and the alpine slide across the road. Easy drive to Mt. Rushmore and other Black Hills Attractions. Room was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly and the experience was more like a B&B and a hotel.

After reading reviews on trip advisor, I wanted to love this hotel, but I didn't. The good things...great location for seeing Mt. Rushmore, comfortable beds, surprisingly quiet rooms, very reasonable rate. The problems...tiny, cramped room, cheap, outdated furniture, disgusting moldy grout and shower curtain in bathroom. Would really have to think about staying here again, just not sure.....

This hotel is a little bit tired looking, but the rooms were clean, big and comfortable. We had a balcony room, which was nice to sit out on. The breakfast was complimentary and was a bit hit and miss, can you actually water the milk down? It was in the perfect location for Mount Rushmore which was why we chose... More

I loved staying here, on Saturday and the night kids ran up and down the halls but overall a great place to stay! I used the washer and dryer and neither seemed to clean or dry well!i would recommend to family and friends!

The mattresses were completely worn out. The Inn had multiple plumbing problems while we were there 2 nights/3 days. This family will not go back. Be careful if you are disabled [I am]. They do NOT tell you the elevator is locked from 10p-6a. Your ONLY acess is stairs. I was on the third floor. With Rheumatoid Arthritis................. They do... More

We would like to know what multiple plumbing problems you encountered since we are not aware of any. Also, none of our mattresses are more than five years old and to our knowledge none are yet in need of replacement. People do sometimes write that our mattresses are either too hard or too soft but no one has said they... More

This is the place to stay when visiting Mt Rushmore. A quick walk into town and only 2 miles from Mt Rushmore. The room is clean and quiet and the price is very reasonable. Did not have their breakfast in the morning, but many other guests did...Would stay their again..

I stayed here for 3 nights and it worked out great. The microwave and fridge in room was convenient. The main thing I care about with motels is that I can sleep and that worked out great. The balcony was a nice little touch and a good place to hang and drink your morning coffee. The lobby is closed from... More

The hotel is convenient to Mount Rushmore and is certainly competitively priced. The hotel appeared to be clean and I had no complaints about the amenities. The problem comes with the front desk only being manned for certain hours. Our key card failed to open the door and with the front desk being unmanned and and the lobby closed we... More

IF I had not gone through booking.com I would have gotten maybe two discounts plus find out if the mattresses were hard or soft. Hard really hurt, but they are set to remodel/renovate. I do suggest that they change those mattresses! We had a good location that we could walk everywhere except to Rushmore. Found many unhappy people downtown, must... More

You make an excellent point. Had you contacted the hotel directly you would have been told that most of our mattresses are rated as medium firm, which is a middle level of firmness most often recommended by manufacturers as the best compromise for hotels. Firmness is rated on a scale of 1-10 with medium firm being as 5, our beds.... More
