I stayed here for 3 nights and it worked out great. The microwave and fridge in room was convenient. The main thing I care about with motels is that I can sleep and that worked out great. The balcony was a nice little touch and a good place to hang and drink your morning coffee. The lobby is closed from...

The hotel is convenient to Mount Rushmore and is certainly competitively priced. The hotel appeared to be clean and I had no complaints about the amenities. The problem comes with the front desk only being manned for certain hours. Our key card failed to open the door and with the front desk being unmanned and and the lobby closed we...

IF I had not gone through booking.com I would have gotten maybe two discounts plus find out if the mattresses were hard or soft. Hard really hurt, but they are set to remodel/renovate. I do suggest that they change those mattresses! We had a good location that we could walk everywhere except to Rushmore. Found many unhappy people downtown, must...

You make an excellent point. Had you contacted the hotel directly you would have been told that most of our mattresses are rated as medium firm, which is a middle level of firmness most often recommended by manufacturers as the best compromise for hotels. Firmness is rated on a scale of 1-10 with medium firm being as 5, our beds....

Very happy with this hotel. It was clean and tidy. The rooms are large and there is plenty of parking. Staff are very friendly and are always happy to help. Breakfast was included but was very basic. It's the standard breakfast in the states that all motels/hotels have. Not like Europe. Acceptable though. Very close to Mount Rushmore and a...

This is an older hotel that needs some updating but was clean and quiet. We stayed three nights and my only complaint was the bathroom was VERY small. We had a king room with a balcony, which was a nice extra. We had no problem with parking or the drive to the back, unlike some other reviews. The staff was...

This older hotel now in the off-season. The Roosevelt Inn is in the heart of Keystone, close to the zip line and restaurants. It has a nice front porch for people watching. The fourth floor room layout a little funky with a table and chairs three steps above the rest of the room, and the vanity/sink right next to the...

It's an OK place - needs updating. I thought the room had a bit of a smell and I try to be flexible on budget travel. They do take pets so maybe I was just smelling the pets of others. Parking is a bit tricky - but the staff were very helpful and nice. We got there late and the...

Very easy to find coming from Mt. Rushmore. Didn't have any trouble with parking like some of the other reviews. Was very clean! Could use a little updating but overall was nice. Enjoyed the pizza from the attached restaurant.

Nice hotel, closest to Mt. Rushmore. Very nice room on third floor.Had stairs to a loft with twin beds which we did not not but was cute. Clean. Breakfast was nice, a bit crowded but they did the best with what was available.

This hotel was the most disappointing part of our entire trip. First, for some people with handicaps the parking. There is very limited parking available. There is like maybe 5 spots in front that are shared with the pizza place inside the hotel. There are like 3 or 4 across the street that if you pull in too far, you'll be...
