Brynllydan is a very comfortable country guest house set in the hills above Penrhyndeudraeth with beautiful views from the windows. We had a very pleasant stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with television, en-suite bathrooms and wi-fi. The breakfast was more than adequate, with a choice of...

Booked at the last minute on a short trip to visit Portmeirion. Took a bit of finding with the Satnav as the postcode took me up a farm track to nowhere! Luckily I was able to ask a local to point me to the correct road. Incidentally, booking direct may turn out to be cheaper than going via an online...

Me and my fiancé have just gotten home after a 2 nights stay here as a surprise for his birthday. We had such a lovely time! The whole place was clean, and we felt so at home being able to sit in the lounge area and have a glass of wine and order takeaway. The room was big enough for...

We booked very last minute by ringing the hotel, and arrived just four hours later. The welcome was warm and we were given a nice large room, with a beautiful view over the valley and mountains beyond. The breakfast was lovely, despite the young man forgetting our tea and toast which came out eventually. The bed was comfortable and the...

My parents, a friend and I stayed here overnight as we wanted somewhere rural and quiet in Snowdonia with gorgeous views. On the picturesque side, Brynllyndan did not disappoint and we were greeted with fantastic hill views when we finally arrived (it is quite the journey to get to the hotel by car through a long and winding bumpy road)....

The view and the quiet are the only things that this place has going for it. The Premium room is bigger than the standard but has dark wood furniture with ill fitting drawers that must have been made in the 70's. The bathroom was ok but nowhere other than a small windowsill to put anything and no hook for a...

The directions seem daunting but in reality it is dead easy to find as it is well signposted off the main road. Because it is so far off the road it is very quiet with great views of the valley where the Ospreys are nesting & the Snowdonia hills. The room is fine if a bit dated more of a...
