This just clicked for us. Our village suite was beautiful. Very tasteful. Loved the sherry sitting on the chest of drawers. Two cute balconys. Lovely sitting and bedroom. Very very comfy. Hotel public rooms amazing. The fire in the foyer was stunning and cozy. The food. Ate in the fine dining restaurant . Exceeded expectations. Easily 2 rosettes. Felt so...

We stayed for two nights in this fab hotel. Very friendly staff, wonderful food - the taster menu is exellent and good value. We ended up staying in different rooms for each night but both were lovely and it wasn't a problem - the bathrooms have some wonderful tiled art work over the bath - all these details add to...

We are here as part of our weekend at Portmeirion, and had a great meal. The food, drink and service was really good - and a price that seemed reasonable - for such high quality. The duck egg (with duck soldiers!) was my highlight, most excellent!

After reading in the Telegraph about the great drives around Snowdonia we decided to take advantage of the Winter Blues offer and stayed 2 night at Portmeirion in the Salutation room. The whole experience was one to remember and repeat, both the hotel stay and driving. Many people will know of Portmeirion from the '60s TV series The Prisoner and...

Took advantage of their winter deal. As it happened we could not go on our first booked night owing to the dreaded flu, so I rang and asked for a postponement for2 weeks. This was readily arranged without problem. The whole process went as smoothly as a 'cat in silk slippers'. We were greeted at the gatehouse and directed to...

I organised a mixed party of 20 people for accommodation and dinner. The event was organised through emails. All correspondence was super efficient and come event day, everything was delivered exactly as planned. The food was superb, the rooms were excellent, and the whole package was incredible value at this time of year. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient,...

Quiet weekend with my Husband. Stayed in one of the Village Suites (Royal Dolphin) which overlooked both the estuary and the Village Square. One arrival, I took the opportunity of having a full body massage at the Mermaid Spa, and followed this with a fabulous Rib Eye steak and a bottle of champagne in the evening. All this, combined with...

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 night DBB stay at this most impressive Portmeirion Hotel with views overlooking the estuary. From the moment we stepped through the entrance door to the time we had to leave we had nothing but praise for this lovely hotel. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating, the hotel was...
