This was our second visit to Wenallt, and it certainly won't be our last. Everything is immaculate, Sarah and Ian are the perfect hosts, and the breakfasts remain legendary! Now the link to Harlech is fully open, there is so much more within easy reach.

Very satisfied customers. Breakfasts to kill for. Nothing was a problem and made to feel very relaxed during our stay of seven nights. Double room was roomy with a settee and two armchairs. TV if you need to while away the time. Recently renewed ensuite bathroom immaculate. Location very good for Snowdonia north and south with good road access if...

We were looking for a Bed & Breakfast establishment as a base for our visit to North Wales and came across Wenallt from the 'Great Little Trains' website. Price was good, especially with the Great Little Trains discount, so we booked for 6 nights. The right decision was made! Wenallt is not only an excellent centre from which to visit...

We had a lovely couple of days here in the Wenallt Guest House back in April. The guest house is in a lovely unspoilt very pretty area. We were shown to our room and were VERY pleasantly surprised it - the room was large with a beautiful bed in it, it had fresh, crisp sheets on it and was one...

I've stayed here a few times over the years and it must be the best B&B in N Wales. Such comfortable and spacious rooms with sofa,tea/coffee and homemade biscuits and a great welcome from Ian and Sarah. Particularly good breakfasts with excellent coffee and a very tasty hot dishes. Its a few minutes walk from the Festiniog railway station(request stop)....

My third visit to then excellent establishment with my brother - a lovely welcome from Sarah and Ian as always, fantastic rooms of a very high standard and lovely breakfasts using local produce. We used Wenaullt as a base to travel on the Welsh Highland Railway from Porthmadog to Caernarvon and also on the Ffestiniog Railway from Porthmadog to Bleanau...

Very pleasantly surprised! Views out over the town toward the estuary. Beautiful large room, friendly service and great location. We stayed in the Glas room (Blue Room) which was delightful. It has its own ensuite. Bed was 'firm' and bedding was nice and freshly laundered. We were provided with complimentary bathrobes, sufficient towels and a basket of toiletries too. The...

Wenallt Guest House is a beautiful place to stay, with friendly and welcoming hosts. The location is ideal for Portmeirion, Porthmadog and numerous attractions in N Wales. The homemade flapjacks in the room were a lovely touch, the shower was fantastic, and the sofa/TV area in the bedroom made it feel more like a suite rather than a bedroom. The...

We stayed for 3 nights 8th to 11th May and can not find any fault with Wenallt at all. Our room was more like a suite than just a bedroom with a settee & chair to relax on much better than sitting on the bed to watch TV etc. We also had a very modern bathroom with an excellent shower...

A repeat visit for a couple of nights to walk the loop of the Coastal Path through Maentwrog, using also the morning train to cross the estuary to Llandecwyn with the road still closed. As good as my visit last year - friendly and hospitable, excellent well-appointed room with views, very comfortable and clean. Home-made flapjacks in the room, interesting...
