We stopped at the Glendale as an overnight break in our journey from Rugby to Tenby. We have stayed at this hotel and eaten in this restaurant before. There is no car park, but we had no problem parking on the street outside. There is a time limit to parking there, but apparently, the wardens never get to this part...

Stayed here recently with my wife on the recommendation of a friend. While our bedroom was comfortable, though drab, and the breakfasts were well cooked (and included in the £85 per room per night cost), there was much that could be improved. We checked in and the man on reception then went away, leaving us to struggle up to the...

This restaurant is going down hill lack of service the waiters need more training!!! The food in general is ok but that evening I had a terrible soggy over cheesed pizza, well Prezzo is beating the quality by far. Three times I had to call a waiter for the bill and when we left no thank you no good bye....

Stayed here with 2 other colleagues on a business trip. Firstly when I asked someone why my room was so cold and could I have a heater he simply said "no, heating on timer" and walked off. The next bit is meant without any racist undertone or discrimination but, if you are going to have people customer facing please make...

On arrival it wasn't clear where we had to check in - the hotel door was behind the bar/restaurant. Our room was at the top of the hotel, not great if you have mobility issues (we don't). The room was large overlooking the station. Windows were ill fitting as we found during the night when taxis were picking up or...

We stayed here for 1 night in December. We were very pleased with the room. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Superb value. Breakfast was cooked just right with homely surroundings. The open fire was a lovely touch. Comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again

Great hotel, bedroom and bathroom tidy size. nice breckfast in the morning, sausage egg beans and bacon, could help yourself to cereal, milk and orange juice. Cost us £85 for a Saturday night. Don't have to check out until noon either

When so many hotels look tiresomely similar and soleless, the Glendale retains charm and character. We had a very comfortable night and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Staff are attentive and friendly. Thoroughly recommend their great restaurant.
