The b+b offered everything we needed. A good size en-suite room plenty of lights' TV' tea and coffee making facilities + a nice breakfast all at a competive rate. Would recommend it. Handy for Cardiff airport and Penarth railway stations. Ideally situated to access sea front, gardens, median and shops.

We stayed for two nights as we were attending a family event in the area. The guesthouse is close to Penarth town centre, so plenty of shops and restaurants. Also a short walk to the seafront. Really friendly welcome by the owner who showed us to a good-size double room with ensuite shower room. There was free wifi, a TV...

The double room we had, the bed seemed small and suspect this was a 4 foot bed. The room had a TV and tea and coffee making facilities and...

The Alandale is certainly a very good, value-for-money guest house. What came as a very pleasant surprise was the warm welcome and excellent service from the friendly family that run it. My room was right at the top of the house, and had everything I needed for my stay, including a large screen TV and very clean and modern on-suite....

I have nothing but praise for this b and b. It is very clean and comfortable and the room I stayed in was well decorated and furnished. Breakfast was fine. The owners are friendly and helpful. It is very convenient for the station, the shops, the pier and the park. I will stay here again.

this b+b is nice. we got a middle sized room, got tv, coffee making facilities, not too far from the pier, could park the car in front of it on the road. the beds are a bit rough used, the breakfast was good and plenty of it. they were rather generous on the tea/coffee/sugar/milk in the rooms! the room was...
