My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel. We were really looking forward to being in the middle of the redwoods, however, we were given a room with no view. There were construction workers almost right outside our windows, and we could not lower the shades at all. The room itself was fine, however, the view was so disappointing!...

Dear nab800, First of all, thank you for choosing to stay at the inn, and thank you for providing your feedback about your visit with us. I am really happy to hear that you found our breakfast to your liking, and am happy to hear that the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout your time at the inn. I am...

We stayed at the Inn for three nights arriving on Sept 19, 2014. We were warmly greeted by Ellen. She helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room, which was situated on the main floor nearest the Redwoods. We really enjoyed our room. It was in the back and we could sit by the table on the...

My husband and I stayed at the Mill Valley Inn over Labor Day weekend. Although it was a quick 1-night stop on our way to Napa Valley, we had a great visit. The inn is the perfect location if you plan to hike at Muir Woods (go early!) and is more peaceful than the hustle and bustle of the City....

Highly recommended! In the heart of Mill Valley, the Mill Valley Inn is the perfect place to stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, parking. This hotel has the perfect location...walk to downtown restaurants and shops, bike ride or hike up the mountain or jump in the car for a quick ride to San Francisco or Napa.

A lovely start to our holiday, with everything you could need on the door step. Great touches throughout the room. Great options for breakfast, and a nice touch with cheese and wine between 5pm and 7pm. Make the most of free mountain bikes and easy access to mount tam trails.

Yes!! As far as places to stay in Mill Valley, this places is as "good as it gets." I stayed here for three days during my honeymoon and my wife and I had a blast! It is run by a very professional and kind staff. I made it a note on the reservation weeks ago that we were staying for...

Located right in charming Mill Valley, this small hotel is just fantastic. It has just 20 or so rooms. The rooms are well appointed, quiet and comfortable. It is within short walking distance of many restaurants in Mill Valley. There is complimentary wine and cheese each evening on the terrace and the complimentary breakfast is full of fresh fruits, lox, bagels,...

Aside from a few possible nits (not worth picking) this inn offers much more than excellent lodging. It may not be paradise but if you just want to get away for a couple of days it could be. We are California Central Valley residents--a place of sometimes intolerable summer heat, often bad air quality and a general dearth of good...

Stayed there week of August 12, 2014. Large room very comfortable. They have an extensive free breakfast and a lovely late afternoon wine a cheese gathering which we very much enjoyed. Service friendly and very helpful. Easy walk to some excellent restaurants and a quiet location.

We stayed at the Mill Valley Inn for five nights in August. A number of our friends stayed there as well. Everyone loved the Inn: its centralized location, the helpfulness of the staff, the excellent breakfasts, and the well-furnished, high ceilinged rooms. There are many nice restaurants within a few blocks of the inn, as well. Highly recommended!
