Throughly enjoyed my recent three night stay in the main house. The bed was comfortable and I loved the huge bathroom. Loved all the little extras they had in the room, e.g, Rabbit Corkscrew., Aveda products. The breakfast buffet was also great.

Wow! I could stay here forever! Dunleith was the perfect place for our adults only weekend getaway. I have never stayed in a bed and breakfast, so I splurged and reserved one of the queen suites in the mansion. It did not disappoint! Our room on the third floor was lovely and spacious. The four poster bed was super comfy,...

We met our friends for coctails in the pub which was recently renovated. We were very comfortable just sitting and talking over a bottle of wine. Waiter attentive but not pushy. After ordering a second bottle of wine, we decided to order some food. Sliders were excellent. Shrimp delicious. Specialty of the house salad very disapointing, however!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! It is true that we do not have an elevator, Historic Inns are prohibited from changing the outside appearance of their property. We have added lots of modern amenities but still have antique charm.

This was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and our stay at Dunleith commenced on the actual date (16th of April app 3pm)....we emailed in advance in order to reserve a table for us to have dinner that evening, at the hotel, to celebrate. We didn't receive a reply, so thought all was well. Upon arrival a very disinterested receptionist (possibly...

I'm not sure what the circumstances are behind the problems you encountered. I will say that one member of a staff can't answer for another member, they can apologize for the inconvenience. As far as breakfast please consider that our breakfast isn't fast food so it is cooked and served. It doesn't sit under a light, so there is some...

First, I want you to know that we did not stay at this property. We did, however, stay at a related property that allowed us a free tour. Not only can one tour the house but the grounds are extensive. There is a historic greenhouse, gardens, patio, and a small gift shop. We joined several others for a mid-morning tour....

We had high expectations and they exceeded them by far! Beautiful venue, wonderful staff and fantastic job by the culinary team. The bedrooms in the main house are furnished in period antiques which add to the Tara feeling. A great place for a destination wedding.

I was pleasantly surprised with Natchez and the walking tours around town made the trip informative and worthwhile. The stay comes complete with a complementary tour of the house which is a must for any visitor. The house was amazing and the grounds are in pristine condition. The room on the top floor of the house was spacious with a...

Our stay at Dunleith was just mediocre. The grounds are beautiful. We checked in a little after 3:00 and our room was not ready for us (even though they sent us up there as if it were). The bathroom was still a little dirty and bed not completely made. They came to put on new pillow cases, but we were...

I am sorry that your visit felt "mediocre" we try to make sure every detail is handled perfectly. With that being said, we do occasionally have hiccups when someone calls in sick or has to be out at the last minute for an emergency. We use a Linen Press on our sheets and so sometimes there are marks from the...
