Wish we could have stayed longer. This is a beautifully appointed, very comfortable B & B in the garden district of Natchez. Our hosts gave us good advice on local restaurants and points of interest. They are very knowledgeable about the history of the area and of course, their property. This is a special property, with seating areas in the... More

From the beginning to the end of our two-night stay at the Historic Oak Hill Inn, My wife and I were impressed with the house, and proprieters Doug Mauro and Don McGlynn. The artistry of their house was, in itself, spectacular. Each room is well decorated and maintained. Also the breakfast served each morning we considered five star. Don and... More

For our anniversary my husband suggested we take in Natchez for the first time. The Historic Oak Hill Inn was the perfect choice! The home is decorated beautifully with art work and period decorative detailing to match. And our room was extremely comfortable. Our hosts were welcoming and shared a wealth of information regarding Natchez treasures. Breakfast! Our breakfast was... More

The one place I can truly relax and unwind is Historic Oak Hill Inn in Natchez, Mississippi. As a small business owner, I'm always "on" -- thinking about my business, worrying about my employees and clients, and planning the future. How wonderful that I found a place where I can slow down and treasure the past. Because the past meets... More

Oak Hill is secreted away in a picturesque pocket of Natchez. It is a charming historical antebellum house but hosts Doug and Don make you feel as if you have come home rather than staying in a museum. The mint juleps enjoyed in the lovely garden were sublime. The hospitality was exceptional and Don's baking is sublime.

Oak Hill is a fantastic antebellum home. The hosts are great and very knowledgeable about Natchez and surrounding area. I enjoy the history of the Natchez area. Oak Hill’s history is very interesting and the period antique furnishings are beautiful. The breakfast is outstanding for the presentation of the meal and very delicious! I am not a fan of Mint... Doug and Don at Oak Hill are the epitome of Southern hospitality. Oak Hill is a stunning antebellum house with authentic decor, it is a gem that feels like has been preserved in time. The attention to detail throughout the house is second to none. We were greeted with delicious homemade Mint Juleps that were better than any we'd had... More

This place is wonderful. Stayed for one night though would happily have stayed longer but all our accommodation was pre booked on our tour. Room was very comfortable and very quiet. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts who gave recommendations on places in the area not to miss and where to eat out. Natchez itself is lovely and a contrast to... More

I feel like I've gone back in history, I am sleeping in a bed fit for a princess. Everything here is done to perfection, from the antiques, all the details from the chandelier's to the placesettings and the food all prepared in the kitchen by the two host, made from scratch. The little kitties are an added treat oh and... More

Traveled to Natchez to attend the antique forum for the time, with a friend. We stayed at Oak Hill Inn for two of our four nights in Natchez. Doug helped us find a place to stay on our first night in Natchez, due to the fact that Oak Hill was already booked. This is my favorite bed and breakfast to... More
