Even if the temperature was too cold to use the Japanese hot tubs, this is a great place to relax, and wind down. The owners are great and the accommodations are more spacious than expected. The pellet stove gave more than enough heat even at -22C! Even with a storm outside we were warm & cozy inside. We'll definitely try...

Spent two nights and totally loved it. Comfort, romantic and all the necessities to make for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed a nice walk in the woods, followed by skating on the pond. To top it all off a soak in the wood fired hot tub. We will be back!

We were excited, but our visit to #ridgebacklodge and its Dream Dome exceeded all expectations. There is no wifi, be prepared disconnect, however reconnect with your partner. The hot tub (a gigantic bath tub) was truly unbelievable and worth tending too. We spend hours under the stars! It would be wonderful in the summer (canoes and kayaks to rent) -...

Ridgeback Lodge is my go to for relaxation! In December my husband and I stayed in one of the Dream Domes and "Dream" is an accurate description. Everything about the Dream dome screams relaxation and intimacy. 2 nights is never enough. This past weekend we stayed in the deluxe cabin and had a very nice 2 days of relaxing. The...

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Ridgeback Lodge. The hosts were friendly, informative, and left you to do your own thing but were available any time for questions. The geodome was spotless (I expected more cottage/camping clean than hotel clean), and super comfortable. The kitchen space was nice and adequate, we also enjoyed use of the bbq....

We stayed in on of the dream domes and it was truly an unforgettable stay. No phones, no distractions...just a couple days away from 'it all'. The wood-fired hot tub alone is worth the trip! Everything you need is there. The owners, Robert and Christel are wonderful people who want to create the best possible experience for their guests. It's...

We stayed in one of the dream domes. It was beautiful and a unique experience. It really is as nice as all the pictures show. Probably even better. The hot tub was amazing and quite worth the work to get going. The bed was comfy, there were lots of cozy blankets provided and the scenery is like a postcard. The...

We stayed in the dream dome december 16-18th and it was a wonderful experience! Very cold the first night, but the propane heater kept us nice and warm! The next day, we went on a few walks on the trails, enjoyed the woodfire hot-tub and just relaxed! I would highly recommend this place to everyone who just needs a break...

I stayed at Ridgeback Lodge twice in 2016, both times in Dream Domes. The first visit was in August and the second in October. This location truly feels like a little piece of paradise. It is quintessentially Canadian: woodlands, water, fresh air, nature, and as much solitude as you want. During the August visit, we hiked the "Adventure Trail" on...
