Our family makes an annual ski trip to Calabogie and are always amazed at the great value we get. No lift lines! We come from the GTA where people don't know about Calabogie as they trek north to stand in line at Blue Mountain, etc. Last few trips we stay right at the lodge on the hill and it is...

We stayed one night while we were skiing at Calabogie. It is a nice, clean inn that seemed very well maintained. It was quiet when we were there. You probably don't want a room right by the elevator as it beeps at each floor and I think you'd hear it from your room. Otherwise, great value and a great place...

Spent New Year's Eve here with the children. Pool was open and hot tube was nice. Fire alarm went off twice throughout the night. Staff didn't really seem to care about it at checkout. No apologies, explanation or discounts, but didn't ask for one either

We booked a last minute (week before) 2 bdrm chalet at the hotel online and no information was sent about the chalet. When I called the hotel to get details about the chalet an hour later, I was told that the chalet we were assigned was a car ride away and not at the hotel itself. I asked to cancel...

Most of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We skied our first day. It froze rain overnight and the staff bustled around to entertain the masses the second day, having games and movies set up and providing complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and cookies . They also allowed us late checkout. There was one gentleman on the evening staff that...

Thank you for your review, laffingirl, and for your patience and understanding during your stay. While the weather has been incredibly cooperative this season, it still has a tendency of keeping us on our toes and we're pleased everyone was still able to enjoy their stay with us. Looking forward to hosting you again in the near future.

My wife and I stayed Dec 31st at this hotel for New Years Eve. I gave this review 4 out of 5 for a couple of reasons. We have been to Calabogie many times over the years but this is our first time staying there. The room: We were put into the "tracks" which are ski upto rooms next to...

We went for three nights and skied two days - rained on the third The ski hill staff were friendly but seemed overwhelmed. I agree with other commenters that there should be an easier way for hotel guests to get passes and rentals. Or at least signage could be clearer or more info could be in the rooms. Ski teachers...

We arrived at 4pm to check in & were greeted by unfriendly staff who gave us the key for our room. We went up, only to find that there were already people occupying our room. We returned to the desk & explained to reception what happened. Unfazed & unapologetic, the man assigned us to another room...across the resort, about a...

On all levels our whole experience was disappointing. Our room was not ready when we checked in and the front desk service was less than apologetic even though several groups were also waiting as rooms were not ready. A free cup of hot chocolate and a smile would have been appreciated. The sinks and kitchen counters need some elbo grease....
