This is a quiet, comfortable, dependable motel just a couple of minutes from Highway 401. As you can tell from the picture, the building is undistinguished in appearance, and there's nothing special about the rooms, which resemble most other rooms in the major North American chains in size and features. The welcome at the front desk was efficient and friendly in a by-the-book sort of way. They have a form for you to sign, and initial at three paragraphs, which does give a slightly adversarial feeling to the transaction. The price was fair though when I was there (the price varies from day to day) not a bargain. There's just one elevator for three floors (above the ground floor) so you'll need to be patient sometimes. The beds were comfortable; the wifi worked well; there were enough electrical outlets. The bathroom functioned well, but there was only less than half a roll of toilet paper available. The bathroom mirror had a sign telling you what they'll charge you if you take a towel (personally I've never been tempted to take a towel from a motel room); this added to my sense that the management sees its customers as potential problems. The breakfast (included in the price) was better than average in diversity, with sausage, scrambled eggs, and potatoes as hot features. The attendant at breakfast was very friendly. Checkout was simple. Really the only comparable choice for accommodation in Napanee is the Hampton Inn, visible from the 401. I went with Comfort because it was less expensive, and I'd make the same choice again.

We had a wonderful stay. The first night the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. When I called reception, the woman was very kind and professional and she arranged a repair. By noon, it was fixed. It is only when there are problems that customer service is truly tested. These folks are excellent. This is the only place we stay when in Napanee. It is close to everything plus the gas station across had the best prices. The breakfast was excellent and served at a reasonable time. Loved the availability of coffee and ice water 24/7. Thank you for a great stay!

Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Room is not cleaned every day but they freshen it up with new towels, replenish coffee bar etc. I respect this as cleaning every day is simply wasteful. Nice breakfast in the morning. Very good practices in light of the pandemic, we felt very comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel is close to everything.

One of the worst hotels we've ever made. It is relatively new, but the decoration and quality of the Pension’s construction seem to be from the last century. There is not much difference with a real Comfort Inn in mediocre quality. The rooms are not soundproofed. There were children running through the corridors after 10 PM in the evening and from 7 AM in the morning. We woke up in the morning for all that noise. In addition, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the other rooms. There was a birthday party in the lobby at 11 PM. People sang loudly and were very disturbing. The receptionist was not doing anything to handle the situation. The cleanliness of the room was simply appalling. The bed duvet was stained and had several hairs or hairs on it. There was hair all over the shower. Mould was found in several places in the shower. The showerhead barely fit on the wall. Hand towels were stained. The thermostat was squishy on the wall. The air conditioner was very noisy. It was late when we arrived and the Inn was full, so we did not address the situation to Reception. We left pretty quickly the next morning. Finally, it was good to have a hot breakfast in the morning, but the scrambled eggs soaked in a liquid, the breakfast potatoes oozed fat and the coffee tasted water. It makes no sense to charge $200+ for a room of this terrible quality.

I am utterly shocked how we were treated at this hotel. I grew up in Fernandina my entire life but most recently moved to Jacksonville (about 45 minutes away). My husband and I were staying for my birthday so we wouldnt have to cab ride all the back home after dinner. When checking into the hotel (I booked online as a rewards member). The front desk agent looked at my ID and asked if “they” told me about the “locals deposit”. There is no where in booking online does it mention an additional deposit. I asked her what exactly that meant. She explains to me that there is a deposit of 100 dollars for being from the area and it is removed after you check out. I starred at her in shock. I had to get her to explain it to me again. She said “they” believe “locals” are more than likely to mess up the room than out of town guests. Excuse me, what! I was so insulted and felt extremely uncomfortable. I’ve worked for big brand hotels before and never have I ever experienced something like that. So when I checked out , I asked when I would have that 100 dollar hold off of my account . She said it can take 3 to 15 business days!! I’m sorry, what?? That is an extremely long time to have money on hold for. All hotels hold your card on file for “incidentals”. That’s not an unique idea. But to be told I was being charged an additional deposit simply because I’m a “local”. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Unfortunately this hotel did not live up to our expectations, we were pleased we were only there for 1 night. There were a couple of pros to the hotel. It was in a convenient location for us as we used it to visit Prince Edward County on our journey from Montreal to Toronto. We booked a room with 2 Queen beds which were very comfortable, these are the only reason for a 2 star rating instead of a 1. We've stayed in a few hotels in the last week and we have always been greeted in a really friendly manner however here the girl on the desk barely said a word to us, we didn't get told where to go for breakfast or where the pool or fitness facilities were. The biggest let down for us was the lack of WiFi. We were relying on the fast WiFi, which they advertised as having, being available. However when we tried to connect all of our devices said 'failed to find IP address'. We went down to ask about this, but the girl on the desk (the same one who checked us in) didn't seem interested and just said she would tell the manager when they came back. We didn't bother to follow this up but it still didn't work in the morning so obviously wasn't sorted. The breakfast was okay, was the usual hotel buffet but for some reason it has all been crammed into a little box room off the dining area, meaning you have to queue behind lots of people even if you're just refilling your drink. The lady who was bringing out the eggs and meat etc. seemed to be pleasant so that was good. The room in general didn't feel very clean, the shower curtain was visible stained and dirty (an unpleasant thing to notice when you're already in the shower) and one of the towels was dirty and had unpleasant marks on it. Overall not a great experience and we wouldn't stay again if we were ever in the area, not sure how it is rated a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is only a year old and it shows, it is in perfect condition and very clean. We stayed for two nights. Obviously COVID-19 is affecting all hotels, and consequently there is no buffet breakfast available, it has been replaced by brown bags containing some items, unfortunately nothing even close to a normal breakfast. And the breakfast area furniture is removed, breakfast is to be eaten in your room. Coffee was available, but no juice or milk, and we commented to the receptionist that although the coffee was good there should be some juice available. Next morning there were juice boxes available, and we were very impressed! Thank You receptionist lady!

It was 80 degrees in our room and the AC wouldn't work. We called twice and waited for close to an hour for someone to come and check it...light bulbs were missing in the room...no complimentary water bottles were left. And when I asked for an extra blanket for my toddler they gave me a scratchy "blanket" that looked like a shower curtain. The remote didn't work for the TV either. Terrible....we paid 150 to stay here and it felt like a 60 dollar hotel. Super disappointed.

Wanted to do something special for daughters 10th birthday. Staff were very accommodating allowing me to come in ahead of check in and decorate the room. Very spacious and clean rooms. Microwave and fridge Very friendly staff. Pool was perfect temperature and kids loved it. To bad it has such an echo. Tv needs more channel choices for night time as couldnt find anything for anyone. Breakfast was good but sausages and eggs were dried out when we got there at 9. Overall great time and will definitely be back.

We had a great stay here. The rooms was adequate but plain, however, the walk in shower was AMAZING with full sized shampoo, conditioner, and soaps! The front desk gentleman was so kind, funny, and very helpful. We requested a highway view cuz of the kids and we got it, so awesome! Also, the breakfast was amazing, everyday we were there! Beds were comfortable, washroom were clean, hallways were clean, loved the drinks in the gift shop, lobby was busy cuz of a birthday that night, a wholesome experience
