Travelled to Napanee on Friday JANUARY 3th, 2020 to attend a funeral in BELLVILLE, Ontario. I shopped around (online) and I called direct to about 5 different motels in that neck of the woods. I saw that "Masterson's" had a 4-star rating and the price was right. The total cost came to $77.97 all taxes in. When I entered my room (#208), I was quite surprised. The room was exceptionally clean and modern. The room was a tad smaller than what you would find at the Comfort Inn, for example..., but I was travelling solo. Good water presssure for the shower and the bathroom was spotlessly clean and bright. The Owner/Manager, "Amrit" was very polite! There were several places to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner and these restaurants were all within a kilometer or two from the motel. "Denny's", "Timmy's", "A & W"and several more. If you are looking for a real bang on your buck..., look for the independently owned motels with 4 star ratings. The room was equipped with mini fridge, (that really works well), microwave and large screen T.V. Would I stay here again..., absolutely!!

We stayed at Mastersons on the weekend and were surprised to find out there was no continental breakfast, only coffee. Even the juice machine was unplugged. Not even juice. When paying close to $450 for two nights (no pool or anything) breakfast should be on the menu. No issues with our room on the second floor. It was clean. Hotels/motels need to stop advertising they have a continental breakfast when they don't. The initial shock of the pandemic is over. Time to start offering the services that were available prior to mar/20. Higher prices with less amenities? Won't be back

Despite the high cost of the room (I was shocked actually) this motel served its purpose. We were in town for a family event and needed a place to sleep for the night. The room was very small but the queen bed was comfortable, everything was updated, and the room was very clean. The owners/manager obviously care about the property - everything inside and out was spotless. And, despite being on a fairly busy road with a 24 hour truck stop right across the street, it was quiet. My only real issue was there was no coffee maker in the room. I've never encountered that before. I recommend this motel if you need a spot for the night to sleep.

We stayed on a holiday long weekend and felt the price was hugely inflated. The lock on our door was broken, we could not secure it from the outside. The toilet seat and toilet roll holder were broken. The bath tap was hanging off, The shower had not been cleaned, there was old soap and spiders in the tub. The carpet was dirty and stained. We would not recommend staying here, the front desk just said thank you for bringing it to our attention!

This motel is great value. Location is perfect, only minutes from the 401. Lots of nearby restaurants to choose from, including a McDonalds open until 2am Thursday to Saturday. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Comfortable beds, large washroom with deep tub. Very clean. Will stay there again.

The staff member at check in made a bunch of mistakes but i still got my room it just took longer. The room is ok and good for one night stay not any longer. There is no breakfast included so make sure you know that as some sites do say it is included.

Minus 10 points if it was possible Pictures show why!! Dirty - have never been in such a motel. Lots of broken things. Alarm, Ac, bed, waschingplace…..,,,, Don’t understand the good reviews. Room 14 is disgusting Dont know about the others.

This motel is handy, right off the 401 and we love being able to park in front of our room. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. There is a fridge and a microwave. We would definitely stay here again.

When you are staying in the Napanee area the options are limited. We noticed that this hotel had been renovated over the last year or so. We heard from family members that the hotel was getting favourable reviews. Small breakfast area that is included in the price of the room. Room was similar to what you would expect from a hotel chain.(Hampton / Holiday Inn ) $150 + It was about 1/2 the price of the Hampton The nicest rooms are on the second floor above the office. (No elevator) Air conditioner / Heating was great. Quiet and easily controlled Great TV and lots of selections on Cable Clean and comfortable Harry the owner is nice and very accommodating Parking lot is big and freshly paved Close to 401 yet no traffic noise to speak of

The management was very friendly. Place had been partially renovated. Our room had a new bathroom - clean. The beds were clean. My two complaints are that there was no where to hang our clothes, just a small hook between bathroom and a/c. Also the room smelled of mold or must, maybe due to a dirty carpet. Left shoes on and sprayed with febreeze each nite.
