Wonderful and quite place. A real hidden gem at an affordable price. Located in a very convenient place at the edge of the bay and close to all the attractions of Bruce Peninsula. Strongly recommended.
A very relaxing stay with comfortable surroundings and protocols. The room was clean and comfortable, the views of the bay and sunsets amazing. The property is well cared for and the shoreline that includes a small sandy beach and larger sitting area is only a short walk down from the hotel. Wish more places were as lovely as this one. Here there is an appreciation of what getting away is all about - away to the quiet and beauty of the area. Thank you for a refreshing stay! (Hope this area remains the same. Noticed the Stop the Fish Factory signs, believe it would hurt the area and tourism. I stayed two nights and was impressed with the cleanliness of the average-sized room and amenities. The room was equipped with a comfortable bed, small TV with spotty service and VHS, wifi (functional), luggage rack, refrigerator, coffee maker, phone, extra folding chairs, fly swatter, an excellent private deck with a view of the grounds, and a shower with great water pressure. Soap and shampoo provided. The sink is outside of the shower/toilet room so not ideal if travelling with another person. The 200 series rooms are right in front of the parking area making it easy to load and unload. COVID protocols mean signing up for pool time (in 30 minute increments) and the campfire. No housekeeping during your stay which was not an issue. A short walk to a beach area and gazebo (chairs and loungers available), tire swing, horseshoe game, etc. There were no lounge chairs by the pool and the cheap plastic Muskoka chairs were uncomfortable. I also did not like the French bistro set on my deck, since it was uncomfortable to sit at just when I wanted to spend more time enjoying the view. Would highly recommend replacing the outdoor chairs and table. Would definitely return as it is good value for money and about 1 hour from Tobermory. A motel room with its own deck looking out to the water is a real gem.…
Great property with a range of activities and its own nice beach as well as being close to all the great beaches in the area (Sauble and Tobermory). We had a fun night as a family with some beach volleyball, playing horseshoes and then topping it off with roasting marshmallows at the common-area firepit.
My husband & I stayed 3 nights at the resort. It is in a large area, the balcony was facing the Georgian bay. It was wonderful to sit near the water, listening to the birds and the waves against the rocks. The room was clean, enjoyed the firepit, and watching the sunset from the balcony. We had an enjoyable stay. Would love to come again.
