Beautiful location, and a wonderful, rustic charm about this place. Very friendly and accommodating hosts who were willing to go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable or provide suggestions and info on nearby activities, attractions and restaurants. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. It's not "The Ritz" but the breakfasts here beat the ones I've had at the Ritz - wow! Anxious to return soon.

Celebrating a birthday during Covid was a whole different ball game. The hosts Tracey & Douglas catered to just one guest, us! They were playing it safe, not sharing halls, lounge, games, fire pit with other parties. We enjoyed breakfast each morning, and on my birthday they even prepared a birthday dinner of my choice. Most restaurants were still closed, not even patios open, so a home cooked meal at our B&B was a real treat. Sanitizer was supplied, hosts wore masks when interacting with us, and Douglas prepared the fire pit for us when we mentioned we wanted to enjoy a fire that night. Our stay was a wonderful retreat, thanks to our wonderful hosts and a lovely B&B on Sauble River. We plan to return in the future.

My husband & I stayed at Sauble Falls Bed & Breakfast for 2 nights this past weekend. The house is beautifully situated on the Sauble River with the falls within walking distance or a 1 minute drive. We got some beautiful pictures of the River & falls! Canoes & kayaks for your use. The stairs to get to your rooms are quite narrow & steep, but the rooms are a good size with a private bathroom in each individually numbered room. Sauble beach just a few minutes away by car. Best breakfast we’ve ever had at a B&B! All homemade. The frittata, fresh fruit, bacon and homemade Apple fritter donuts were delicious. My husband especially loved the fresh fruit compote. It was so nice of Doug & Tracey to invite us to bring containers for our leftovers, as this provided a great lunch and fresh fruit snack while picnicking later! Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon! Thank you Doug & Tracey!

We just returned home from a 4 day stay at this establishment. Personally, we are shocked at the good reviews this B&B receives. We found the rooms to be quite dated and uncomfortable. Due to lack of space in these tiny rooms, you cannot unpack your luggage as there isn't a dresser nor a closet. They have installed portable floor air conditioning with a large pipe that travels across the foot of the bed. This noisy machine also takes up a lot of floor space causing a very crowded room. The pillows on the bed are flat as pancakes and uncomfortable. If you are physically fit, you won't find the narrow steep stairs to your room a challenge.
All of the reviews rave about the breakfasts. Perhaps they are good when they serve them hot but while we were there, they were served stone-cold.
They do have a dock with complimentary water craft but the steps looked treacherous so we decided to pass.
Please think twice before booking a stay at this establishment. We were very disappointed.

I just arrived home from a WONDERFUL weekend at Sauble falls B&B. The food was amazing .The rooms were perfect . Doug and Tracey thought of every way to make their guests feel at home. Normally when I am away from home I have difficulty sleeping but not here. The beds were so comfortable that I slept like a rock! I can’t say enough about Doug’s cooking everything was perfect. I was so well fed at breakfast that I still wasn’t hungry by 5 pm.
Thanks again I will definitely be back

I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at Doug and Tracy’s warm, rustic B&B retreat! The location is fantastic, the property is beautiful, situated on the river, you’re able to hear the rustling of the falls in the distance. Upon arrival, we were greeted enthusiastically by Zoe, a delightful border collie. The comfortable, immaculate room was beautifully decorated in keeping with the rustic atmosphere of the residence, no detail forgotten! Doug lit a bonfire for us to enjoy the evening. Breakfast was fabulous, presented so professionally . We couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely return to Sauble Falls B&B. Susan New Hamburg On

If your looking for a safe, fun, and relaxing getaway during these stressful times this is the place for you!

We stayed with Doug and Tracey for two nights and were truly amazed by the warm hospitality we were met with right from the start. The rooms themselves were very quaint and clean with a great view of the river through the trees. Doug provides a personal multi course breakfast that is well thought out and prepared with care and Tracey took care of the clean up. Doug set us up with kayaks (and safety equipment) and directions for navigating the river. At night he prepared and lit the bonfire for us, it was overall the best weekend at Sauble we have experienced and it was all due to this lovely couple. It should also be noted this was all post-Covid, and overall cleanliness was impeccable. There was hand sanitizer stations and every opportunity to wash your hands around the house. We brought our own hygiene products and Lysol but I feel confident that even if we hadn’t our stay would have been just as safe and comfortable because of their diligence.

Thank you Doug and Tracey (and Daisy) we will certainly be back again.

This cozy bed and breakfast is right across the street from the beautiful sauble falls. I stayed here with my girlfriend for 2 nights, and we enjoyed every moment of it. The couple running the B n B were super friendly, and the room was clean and spacious. They have several kayaks and a canoe that you can borrow, and paddle down a picturesque river. The breakfast was delicious and I highly recommend booking this place for your next weekend getaway!

We lucked out and were able to stay here because of a cancellation. This B&B is quiet, private and comfortable. An great location for exploring the Bruce Peninsula. The breakfast was excellent. Doug is a fabulous baker and cook. If given the option to stay for dinner - say yes.

We had an amazing 3 nights and days at Sauble Falls B and B. The hosts were amazing and the 3 course breakfasts with homemade pastries were perfection. We enjoyed using the paddle boards, kayaks and canoes that are included. The cottage backs right on to the river and you can paddle for hours. We also walked across the road to the little falls and drive 10 minutes to the beach. The rooms are comfy and the house is spotless. We bought the 50 dollar a person dinner and it was delicious. Doug is a master chef.

Hello Bill K., Thanks for asking. We love pets and have a border collie that lives exclusively on our side of the house. As we have many Guests with allergies and sensitivities, we do not allow any pets on the Guest side. Sorry! (and apologies for the delay!)
