What an impeccably clean, quiet and comfortable bed and breakfast with an authentic Edwardian style!! Apparently it's the only home in Wiarton that has a heritage designation. Jeff takes every care to make sure you have everything you need and makes a superb full breakfast. The king bed suite was spacious and furnished with handcrafted Mennonite furniture. What a gem! We will definitely be back.

We stayed two nights at the beautifully renovated Wright House this summer and were happy with our experience there. The room and shared bathrooms were spotlessly clean as was the rest of the house available to guests. Breakfast was good with ample food. Although Jeff was always available to let us in, we would have preferred our own key or front door code. We would stay here again.

Stayed for a weekend last year with my wife. Not great if you're looking for a romantic getaway, but if you're looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay, for a decent price with decent breakfast, this place will do the trick.

Great location, stunning house and rooms and furniture, wonderful facilities, breakfast to die for, and a wonderful host!
I stayed one night with my hiking partner as a break from hiking the Bruce Trail, and then again on our way home after we finished up in Tobermory.
Each time was top quality. We'll go back next time we're in the area — and we've recommended it to folks we know are heading that way.

This B&B was spotless with a very unique interior of an English flavour with beautiful wainscotting and fireplace. The bed was most comfortable and washrooms very clean. The host, Jeff Brown, was exceptional for helpfulness, conversation and great hospitality. Walking distance to the downtown and waterfront. We had a wonderful stay.

Jeff was a most welcoming host. We enjoyed an evening of conversation, a restful night's sleep and a wonderful breakfast to send us on our way. Definitely a great way to start our week-end adventure on the Bruce.

We recently stayed three nights at this B&B and it was very comfortable. We were extremely happy that Jeff had just added air conditioning to our room since there was a major heatwave during our stay. The bed was very comfortable. We normally stay at B&B's that have ensuite bathrooms and sadly this B&B has shared facilities, which we knew when we booked but it was fine. Jeff is a very friendly person and we enjoyed sharing our stories about running a B&B in Nova Scotia. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay!

We stayed in this B&B for 1 overnight in September to attend a friend's milestone birthday. Wiarton is a delightful little town with one main street on Hwy 6 on the way to Tobermory. The Wright House is a beautifully kept large historic home with lovely common sitting areas (living room, dining room). The bedrooms are spacious, well maintained and nicely decorated with nice fresh linens. The bathrooms are down the hall. We traveled in a group of 4. My sister and I shared a room with a king bed, my 89 year old mother and her friend shared a room with twin beds. The rooms are upstairs and these senior ladies were able to manage the steps. Jeffery is a very attentive host and made a delightful breakfast that included a fruit cup, eggs and waffels. Our group was the only ones staying that evening and we enjoyed playing Shanghai and drinking wine in the dining room for the evening. Jeffery was very informative of the area and the local restaurants recommending the Green Door cafe which was very good and accommodating to our tastes. We enjoyed strolling the town, stopping to shop at Rankin River Trading (worth a visit) and the Painted Turtle. As it was Sunday, most other shops were closed but we enjoyed the window shopping none the less. Try to take the scenic route along Georgian Bay to return to Owen Sound and south to Toronto You will find a beautiful tribute site for the Women's Istitute along the way
