I went with my girlfriend and the rooms are big and clean. The hotel is remodeled and it is attended by its owner who is a great person. I felt like at home. The location is convenient for going to jobos beach. The price is comfortable.

My husband and I decided to make a roadtrip around the island on the weekend. Dispise it was valentine's day weekend it had rooms avalible. The place was clean so as the bedsheet. The towels smelled nice. The place is perfect for crashing after a long drive. I definetly reccomend it!

I booked what was supposed to be my dream vacation to this place. The place does not even have a hotel lobby! When we first arrived, the place was creepy, dirty, and desolate. When I called the hotel's phone number, it actually rings the owner's cell phone. If you're lucky, he'll answer the phone (very rare, because he's always "surfing")....

I have to agree with the last review. This hotel is now run by a local family. The room was clean and nice. The lobby and rooms were obviously remodeled as compared with previous reviews. Friendly and attentive staff. Good price and excellent location. Perfect place for a get away! I didn't give an "excellent" review because the tv program...

I stayed here this past weekend and this place is no longer Buenas Olas and Kevin, the old owner, and Nick, the old manager, are gone. It is now run by a local family and the rooms, lobby, and restaurant are completely remodeled. No more stray dogs roaming the property, there is always someone in the lobby to assist guests,...

This review is based on the roughly one hour I stayed at this hotel despite the fact that we had a reservation for 2 nights. What confuses me is that I know people who have stayed here in rooms with new furniture, plasma tv etc. That was NOT our experience. The room we were given was nothing short of a...

The hotel was very difficult to find based on the address given. We ended up driving past it a few times before realizing it was there. No A/C in the lobby and no one was at the front desk. We had to go to the bar to find someone. Check-in was a little sketchy. We showed our reservations but were...

This hotel is a blend of Modern, sophisticated and simplistic design. The rooms are very comfortable and each room has a hammock on the balcony for relaxation. It truly is a hidden gem for numerous reasons including: the staff, location, decor, food, bar and its remoteness in the off season. They had mouth watering Thai Tacos and delicious Surfer Empanadas....

I arrived at the hotel and there was no one at the front desk or any signs indicating where to find anybody. In fact, I never saw anyone at the front desk during my stay. I wandered into the bar and found someone who could check me in. Having to check in at a bar didn't make me feel very...
