A very unkind and rude woman at the reception. A terrible room: dirty blanket, more and big beetles walking on the floor and on the wall, dirty towels (with tuft of hair). No services at the hotel. We wanted to change the room, but the woman said: "I can't guarantee rooms without animals and insects". So we decided to slept...

Really nice hotel, beautiful view, swimming pool, on sit restaurant. Would have given 5 stars, but there were six roaches found in my room. Was an incredibly hot day, an maybe that why the roaches wanted to get inside. It was off season ( the end of June). Maybe in the winter months the roaches are not so numerous. Will...

We were towing our sailboat down the Baja, looking for a place to stop around Santa Rosalia, could not find the hotel we planned upon. It was getting toward dusk, and the boat can be a logistical nightmare especially in towns. We happened on Hotel El Morro and the owner welcomed us, assured us of adequate, safe parking. The location is...

This place probably used to be a nice hotel, decades ago! When we arrived at the fron desk, it looked like we where bothering the lady by asking for a room. Externaly, the place looks ok. But the room we got (#24), smelled like it had just been sprayed for bugs or washed with a super strong industrial cleaner. We...

To begin with upon our arrival the lady at the reception desk was as friendly as a tooth ache, she did not welcome us at all and acted like we were bothering her. Have stayed here many times on our way South, but this place has deteriorated considerable over the years. No side table light, only a fluorescent glob above...

We stayed at several hotels in San Felipe, Loreto, La Paz, Cabo San Lucas and even at an inexpensive hotel in Mulege. But this one in Santa Rosalia was by far the worst. The lady at the reception desk was very rude and barely helpful; customer service must not be in her vocabulary. The room was bare and it took...

A good place to stop for the night when driving the Baja. A comfortable & clean motel to stay. Pets are allowed. Place appears to be getting some much needed upgrading. Ample parking close to rooms. Staff is friendly, bilingual & very helpful.

The building is fine. You can park your car near the bedroom door which is a bit better on the security front. The AC was weak but the window opened...the water pressure was low. but by far the worst were the beds--setting aside the fact that the mattresses were worn out. I shared a room with my friend--two beds--my bed...

Hotel el Morro has an awesome view of the Sea of Cortez, which we didn't discover until the following morning since we showed up at night. The rooms lack decor, and aren't very clean. I don't know what it was, but we were both itching the entire night while trying to sleep in that bed. The continental breakfast consisted of...

I've stayed three times now in Hotel el Morro , they accept pets charge 50 pesos for it i think . The rooms on the ocean are a little more expensive . Still only about $ 46 i think .They are clean and the people are friendly , don't get me wrong it's not a luxurious hotel but it's nice...
